Taking a QB for the sake of taking a QB, in a bad draft class, isn't helpful when you have no picks to improve the team around them. This is how you stay in the perpetual QB carousel.

You talk as if the Panthers are this well run organization.  That team is 22-43 since the new owner bought the team.  4 years, 4 QBs, 4 losing seasons.  3 straight seasons with only 5 wins.  They are a QB desperate team that will likely have first crack the QB of their choice.  I doubt they will be able to resist.

Or they can have the #1 pick next year in what is predicted to be a stronger QB class, and already have the franchise LT to protect him.

Probably my last Mock, wanted to move up to get WIlliams in the 1st. moved up again to lock down Lloyd.....Only  really cost me Reagor and Dillard and 2 - 4ths

Life moves way too fast. Except for draft week. This week takes forever.

Waited all this offseason and I'm probably only going to be able to listen to most of the 1st and 2nd day. This is suck.

Watch out jalen!

I have been back and forth on these WRs.  Williams, Olave, Wilson are all intriguing.  Watched a ton of analysis and video on the prospects.  But, at the end of the it all, I have come full circle and still think that Burks is the best WR prospect for the Eagles.

Look at his production in the SEC with all of the focus of opposing D.  The size and YAC potential is something sorely lacking.  I think his speed is underrated.  I mean watch the clip where he ran away from the entire ALABAMA defense.

He would be my WR target

Burks, Pickens and Jameson probably have the highest potential out of the group. I like him but the problem with Burks is that he has some question marks over his work ethic and his route running isn't great, partially because of how he was utilized.

Are we certain that 2023 picks are off limits this draft if Howie falls in love with multiple players in the 1st RD?

I hope it doesn't happen, but never know with Hungry Howie.

One of the many things I miss about living in FL.

Talk down here near Tampa is Bucs selecting him with their 1st round pick

I lucked out when I moved from south FL to NC. Within a year of being here, one opened up less than a mile from my condo.

Is there a cap on the number of toppings?

Hungry Howies I miss, and Chanello's pizza in VA.

Yes, they all have some question marks.

Watson has the highest upside imo but questions about his hands and competition.

Williams acl.

Pickens knucklehead issues.  Love the player but we don't need knuckleheads.  We have been (off the field) knucklehead free for a good stretch. Besides Barnett and his penalty prone ass, we have been good in that dept.

I think part of it is that Burks doesn't have the traditional body type.  He has a thicker lower body than you see at WR.  But, he's a baller.  Breaks tackles and has break away speed.  Good with contested catches.  Huge mitts.

Eagles have been super quiet on Wilson so this is interesting

Well this guy blew my cover in the Master of the Draft game. Ive been thinking the eagles like Wilson and know Wilson loves the eagles. Theres been a lot of smoke in the last day or 2 about Jameson Williams, as well as the eagles trading up. I took that as a smoke screen for the eagles actually making a move for Wilson. As of the time I entered, through 2 pages of entries I was the only one who had Wilson as my lock player. This guy just Fd up my game.

I can believe it , they did their homework on him , another shocker could be McBride at TE . Hall next to Vea would be potent . They have big hole at TE , even if Gronk returns , just him and Brate  realistically neither will be back next year .

I can see a WO too , they do have 3 WOs making more than 10 million a year in , Evans , Godwin and Gage , but Godwin will be out until Nov  , so WO is in play at 27

Setting myself up for letdown letting myself think Thibs could happen.

As a side note I’m starting to get tired of that uStadium account. They’re online all Fing day and they try to put themselves at the center of every rumor or report.

Quick poll. Greater confidence: Sixers win game 6 or Howie nails it tomorrow?

I’m confident both will let me down

I think they like him a lot. Probably #1 on their board. Don’t discount the hometown connection.

Jamo is the only offensive player that interests me in round 1.

I like Lloyd, how pumped would this fan base be with a good off the ball LB selection in round 1. As far as the negatives, he's from the PAC-12 and will be 24 at the start of the season, would the eagles use a 1st rounder there?

Garafolo said today he doesn’t think WR is a priority for the Eagles in round 1. DL or CB

Yeah I'm thinking Thibs is a real possibility. Will be disappointed.

I think Sixers have a better shot historically speaking

Some interesting comps
