DL and DB tonight please Howie.  Don’t force the board by moving up for a WR.  A trade up is fine for a DE or DB.  DL first, then trade back for a DB like Booth

Lol, yeah…Jones, Hall and Ebiketie are three very different types of dlineman. But if we take Davis, Jones is off the board. If they take Davis first and then trade down a bit with 18 and take Hall or Ebiketie I’m perfectly fine with that.

The latest on Andre Dillard is if he is on the roster after the draft, he will likely be asked to cross train at OG. He's put on Considine muscle and bulk in the off-season, etc etc

Does trading back into the late 20’s bring Ojabo into play?    1st round pick and you get the extra year since he’s likely to miss most of his rookie season?

I finished all my projects for work early this week to be able to relax the next two days for the draft before I head out of the country. And then, of course, the biggest project of the year pops up with a deadline of Friday at 5.

Agreed. And he’s still only 21. I don’t think he’s JJ Watt but I’d be happy getting someone at 18 with his potential. He will be a 3 down DE. Can’t say that about most in this draft.

Seems like a good fit considering we run zone more than any other team in the league. If they don’t take a CB in R1, they should just wait for Alontae Taylor. McDuffie would not be my choice, but he is IMO the best zone corner in the draft. 

I like Burks alot, his game speed is much faster than his timed speed.

A guy like Brian Westbrook only ran a 4.45 yet on the field he was often the fastest guy.

Burks has that type of game speed and explosion.

I just don't see it with Burks.  I see a lot of TO comparisons and all of the explosiveness talk but I'm not a fan.
