Eagles better not be only trying to move up for a CB and if that CB goes earlier than expected just stand pat. Multiple players they could move up for who could help. I hope they don't think they're settled at pass rush with Reddick.

CB is a bigger need right now than pass rush.

The committee has come out with the seedings for each region of the 2022 EMB Racist bracket. Got some good matchups

We spoke Devonta Smith into existence last year during the draft. Let's do it again tonight!

Derek Stingley will be an Eagle tonight!

Because of the mystery of the top 3 picks, any GM worth their salt would want to know what it takes to trade up.  Then, with a lot of teams looking to trade down, it could be a year where trading up, is by comparison to the other years, cheaper than the draft board would dictate. Consequently, this is probably one of the more stressful years to be a GM as you just don't know what idiots like the Jags will do and how quickly it will rip your plans up.

I hope we don't compromise the value in rounds 2 and 3 to make a too big splash. This team won't win the Super Bowl by trading up and losing multiple premium picks

As much as I have railed against us constantly going WR, early.   I wouldn’t hate this.  Once we do get a QB who can sling it, he would be amazing.   87 years old.

Fixed

3.

I have resisted the temptation to make draft predictions.

But now I am ready to offer a bold prediction:

Regardless of what the Eagles do tonight, Afan will like it.

A move up for Stingley would be a great way to start the draft off bad

He’ll have confidence issues early once he realizes who he’s lining up against every day in TC

Jeremiah said this yesterday as well on WIP. I said this about 3 weeks ago i see us they move up from 15 and move back from 18 to recover some of what they lost. I also think dillard if they trade with Carolina could be part of that deal as they could’ve use a LT.

So in 2013 (perhaps the last draft without both elite top of draft talent and top QBs), all it took for the Dolphins to move up from 12 to 3 was a 2nd round pick. If the league views 2022 similarly, Sauce might actually be in play.

(For the record, I wouldn't give up 51 for him.)

If they are moving into the top 10 i imagine it’s for thibodeaux or sauce. I think moving up into the top 10 for Stingley is less likely due to he was great his freshman year and then only played 10 games after that and coming off a lis franc. Eagles gone after injured players but it usually is in rounds after 1 and i have a harder time seeing top 10 that they’d give up what it’d cost and with past injuries.

Stingley also hates ball and competition

Any draftee that manages to take Roger Goodell for a mid draft dunk in the lake will have my eternal thanks.  If it's an Eagles draftee, even better!

I'm getting a sinking feeling that Howie is going to blow his load and overpay to get in to the top 10.  No one in this draft is worth trading 2 1st round picks for.

Had a proud Uncle moment today. I got to spend some time with my niece who is around 17 months old now. Took her out to lunch and decided to go to Chic-Fil-A because she loves french fries. Got her a kids meal and I had the spicy chicken sandwhich. When we were finished I had some time left to take her to the playground set up Chic-Fil-A has, and she got to play in the ball pit. She had a blast! Loved throwing the balls and making a mess (which I quickly cleaned up before leaving). When we were done I put her into her car seat and started driving back to my sisters house. I pulled into her driveway, and looked into the rear view mirror and said "Had a blast with you today kiddo, let's do it more often." AND SHE LOOKED AT ME AND SAID HER FIRST WORDS!! She responded:

I haven’t had any issues yet

With the obvious exception of deep playoff runs from my favorite teams, this is my singular favorite sporting event of the year.

I love how they obnoxiously build it up like there’s some championship to be gained from doing the best in an amateur player selection, how there are more pundits on hand than during the super bowl, and how overly dramatic (one way or the other) every fan base is about each and every selection. "Fire the GM because even though he got the position we needed, he didn’t take the underrated player who went to my alma mater!”

Unless there's a generational player in the top 10 then I don't want to move up

"This is the craziest draft I've seen in 30 years"

Years ago when I was backpacking through western Europe I was just outside Barcelona hiking in the foothills of Mount Tibidabo, I was at the end of this path and I came to a clearing, there was a very secluded lake and there were tall trees all ...
