I actually think it was a solid pick. And the trade you made sense to me as they were trying to leap the ravens who wanted their next ngata. I’ve had a feeling and  solid nugget info from a coach at uofa as our HC went to college with howie that Davis was a guy they really wanted about a month ago. 

Davis is a gamble, but he's also a ridiculous athlete, 1.63 ten yard split at 341 lbs, 32" VT, 10'3 LJ, similar to Williams at 284 lbs last year, and Williams was one of the most athletic DL in that draft. He may be nothing more than an exceptional 2 down DT, but he's athletic enough to move around the line, split out at 3-4 DE, etc. When you have Davis, Williams and Kearse in the game, you have a DL that can run sideline to sideline.

QB's are plummeting. All that Willis hype was just that.
