They won the game off a gorgeous, beautiful pass and catch, followed by a successful FG.  That washes some of the taste away of the worst sustained sequence of choking I’ve ever seen in an nfl game.  If they won the game in a different fashion, I’d draw up a petition just to have SF just go to the SB.

Yep.  They couldn't run the ball anyway. Shouldn't have been trying.  He gets too conservative and chokes it away.

Minimal. All of these teams allow their opponent a chance or numerous chances to take the game.  All we need is a QB and we would be in it.

In the isolated bubble of an individual playoffs, we could always pick out a few plays or players that would have us in this spot.  
 

To beat the NFC teams, it could be a crapshoot with some improvements.  To reliably beat them (as opposed to every playoff game just being a toss up), we need a lot of work.  To hang with the AFCs best, we need a lot of work.

You have to judge it totally different than you would most quarterbacks because of the way he holds the ball. He holds the ball with his hand much closer to the top of the ball. A lot of younger QBs are starting to do that.
