They've had this worked out. I'm guessing the WR rumors were intentionally leaked to help negotiate the contract with Brown.

Ok, well, gotta say this is the happiest I have been with an Eagles 1st round in a long time. Davis’ combination of size and athleticism is something you bet on 10 out of 10 times. And AJ Brown is a stud. So much better than the 2020 crapfest. Or 2019. Or 2017…

AJB is a top 10 WR and AJB/Smith has the potential to be a top 5 combo. But they need a QB first.

I think they explored all options and decided this was their best option to improve the team

If we believe the rumor they were getting Ridley earlier this offseason it makes sense they were trying to get a big time WR. Just so happened that fell through and they were able to find themselves into a better wr in aj brown.

Can't pivot that quickly and then announce a contract immediately.   This was a done deal at least a week ago and the Eagles have been negotiating with Browns reps since.

Man, hope everything will be ok with your mom. Server has been good for me, but not for others. It doesn’t matter though, We can live without the board if need be. Take care of your family

I experienced one crash around the time the AJ Brown trade was announced, but it was brief, and it's been otherwise good.

Jags trade up. Bet it’s for a LB.

It was confusing to me. Washington had the most hype behind picking Olave early and they traded it. I was assuming he was going to last until 18 to be honest.

Yup.

WRs are expensive no matter what. Hill/Adams/Brown all got paid. Deebo/DK/McLaurin about to get paid. We just saw 4 WRs go in the top 12 and 7 WRs in the top 18. WR investment across the league is not going away...but at least we should be covered for at least 2-3 more years.

Thanks, I think I caught it the instant it began and got the ambulance out here very quickly. They gave her that 'magic shot', and it looks like almost all (if not all) of the effects from the stroke are reversing very nicely. 12 hours ago, no feeling on her left side (though fully functional and strong), now almost full sensations is back.
