I just want a guy who can throw the ball... that's what I really want. agreed. theyre the only 2 I have interest in because I value being able to throw the ball over anything else. I was a Mac Jones guy last year as well. I dont really specifically want to draft either of these QBs. But if the eagles take a QB those are the ones Id hope we would take.

January 24, 20223 yr Great read, Great throw. Released it when Davis was even and knew he could outrun the safety to the ball. Remember when we had a QB who had that kind of arm? Yeah... I miss that.
January 24, 20223 yr I'm learning 4 things- 1. We need MUCH better quarterback play. 2. We need to seriously improve the pass rush. 3. We need at least one impact linebacker. 4. We need more dynamic playmakers on offense.

I think the lack of a Trevor Lawrence/Burrow/Luck/obvious #1 overall pick gives this class a worse rap than they deserve. Is Ridder so different from Trey Lance? Great arm talent, mobile, great athlete, extremely raw. Compare Strong with Mac Jones. In every way that Alabama SEC "competition” boosts a QB’s resume, playing behind that OL with all-pro WRs actually introduces some competition concerns for Alabama QB’s. Strong is a top of the draft quality passer with some rare traits that Jones could never even dream of. I don’t care for Corral, Pickett, and Willis at all…but I also think Wilson and Fields were terribly overrated as prospects.
