That's a win for the Bills' D.    And a boneheaded playcall by Andy.  We'd have his head for that.   Why take the ball away from Mahomes and give it to the backup TE and backup RB?

Bubble screens, jet sweeps, WR in the back field…all while containing the deep speed to take off downfield on a go route.  

A player like that transforms an offense.  You can dink and dunk with them underneath in bad weather or when your QB struggles, or go bombs away downfield when things are clicking.  We’ve got Smith and Goedert for the intermediate part of the field.

Reagor is a prototype for that…but oh well…swing and a miss.  

Would be nice to go looking for another.

Idk i don’t trust butker to hit the field goal unless it’s really short. He’s missed a fg and extra point. Buffalo going to go for 2 if they get the td. 

Did a bunch of trade downs in this mock, set us up with extra first, 2 extra 2nds, and extra 3rd in 2023 draft while bringing in 14 guys….first time using this simulator also, far better than The Draft Network simulator I think

I’m going out on a limb by criticizing Allen and Mahomes right now, but I’d actually argue that this game features a bit more qb running than what you’d see in an "ideal” offense.   You do this enough in a cold weather playoff game, and eventually your qb will get his bell rung or will tweak an ankle.  If that happens, your QB is guaranteed to be the one that blinks first in a shootout.

3rd and critical with the season on the line, all reads covered…by all means…run your heart out.  Tucking and running by design on almost half the 3rd downs?  Not sure I like that.
