Not that I hate the Jurgens pick, but we turned 10 picks into a first year rotational DT, AJ Brown, a center who won’t play this year, and have a 3rd, 5th and 7th

UDFA is my favorite draft time of the year.  Play DB?  Got a pulse?.......................

Really like the Jurgens pick.  Kid has punch.  Better run blocker than pass blocker but, hey it’s Nebraska. Good punch. May be viewed as limited because he just played C but built to play G too.  Not as fast as Kelce but real good speed for IOL. If Seumalo is limited any to start the year, I could see Stout playing him at G.  Watching Nebraska was painful this year (my Dad was a graduate alum so I have always followed the Huskers), but Jurgens stood out.  Second Nebraska born C to play for the Eagles.  IOL was a need and this addressed that need. Stout has to be grinning.  Like I said the other day, Howie pointed out that their values haven’t changed.  Rebuilding the lines matters.

I don't hate the pick but I feel like it wasn't a huge need. We need defense badly. Weren't we going to use one of the swing guards or tackles to take over C when Kelce finally retires?

We don't even know if Kelce is going to retire after this upcoming season. He could end up doing another season

Let's hope FA additions at LB and the addition of Davis compensate for a lackluster secondary.

Everyone says they want Howie not to reach and draft BPA. Then Howie goes BPA and people freak out.

We went through this last year with both Dickerson and Williams.

I don't hate any of the moves overall, I hate them for a rebuilding/tooling team.  (minus Jurgens had we been smart and addressed the back 7 prior or DE)

2023 line when Kelce retires is in much better shape. This team was never planning to win a 2022 super bowl…were you? It’s a "boring” pick but in 2023 when this kid is making second level blocks down the field, everyone’s gonna be like "damn he is like Kelce Jr.”
