If they made that pick a round or two later everyone would love it. It just stings a bit drafting a guy in round 2 that most likely isn't going to contribute much, if at all, this season.

Early prediction: he wins the RG job

Glen Rivers leaving Embiid in the game up 30 in the 4th quarter is like drafting a Center in the 2nd round.

This post made my end of the work day great. lol

Philly in a nutshell:

Yesterday: Phils sweep, Sixers clinch, Eagles get top 8 WR and top DT in draft.

Today: Phils getting no-hit through six innings, Embiid out indefinitely with orbital fracture, Eagles use 51st pick on a guy who may not play this season.

Gritty giveth, and Gritty taketh away

Why can't Jurgens play guard? I bet he plays this season. He might even start week 1

Yeah Doc sucks.  Hope we get swept so he is fired immediately

7 interior linemen go in the first 2 rounds. Huh.

And we finally get our center in R2 next year

Zac Wilson has  all the weapons now and I think it pays off for him .

The Jets need to open their offense up. Drafting Wilson to run a dink and dunk offense wasn’t a great idea, he fits Siriani’s passing offense much better. They should of just drafted Mac Jones.

I’d love Christian Harris if he fell to our third rounder

Josh Paschall, Cam Taylor-Britt, Channing Tindell, Bryan Cook... a lot good players left.

My short list is decimated. Still players out there, but we seem short on picks now.

Come on man, Center was a big need. That's what some guy on this board told me.

The Flyers are my first Philly sports crush in the early 70s.  So painful.

Id love if he wen to dallas so we wouldnt have to worry about a LB tackling any of our players.

Yep, common sense. We have one of the best C's in the league a few other guys who can play the position. Calling it a need is flat out stupidity.

Think long term

Jalen Hurts had 16 TD passes last year, Allen led the NFL with 12 TD passes on the run.  Allen also threw another 24 TD’s from the pocket.

It wasn’t my first choice, but with Ojabo, Brisker and others gone, I get it. Gotta keep the OL strong for the new QB next year.

it just sucks they haven’t addressed CB or edge at all in this draft. They always miss out on the meaty parts of drafts it seems every year.

We are in round 2…

Not saying I agree but I think they went BPA on their board.  I do think Seumalo’s health played a role just like Kelce’s retirement.

We are indeed. Thanks for that.

I don’t know, Gowton, but I am guessing talent and athleticism were factors.  But a team that has suffered a bunch of injuries on the IOL for the last two years, whose All Pro C may retire after this year and having the best OL coach in the league on board might want to consider this pick.  But of course, a internet news conglomerator knows best so………..
