OK.  I really didn't, but I guess you have.  Something drug him down, so that might be part of it.

I shared this earlier so I thought you were being argumentative. Apologize for that inference

I'd never seen that before or any indication that he had a bad attitude.  It's hard to know how widespread that feeling is.  In fairness, I get his focus on knee health over the rest, because that has been the criticism for months on end. Either way, that's not a good report.

I was curious if Saints were waiting until after May 2nd to sign Matthieu for comp pick reasons.

They sacrificed two 4th round comp picks from losing Marcus Williams and Terron Armstead because they signed Marcus Maye and Andy Dalton

He asked the Bears for his release, so that would mean he’s looking to be signed by someone else

He should sign with the commanders to really F with Carson wentz. The ghost of super bowl MVP past.

That’s a lucky byproduct of jumping in front of the Ravens.  Would be pretty funny if we ended up with Clark as a result

I could see Joe Douglas bringing Foles in as an upgrade to Joe Flacco with the Jets, or Doug asking Baalke to bring him in to backup Lawrence

Well the report contradicts that doesn't it? Says in the interviews he kept telling teams how healthy his knee was but was bombing everything else in his interviews and didn't come off that knowledgeable.

If a guy was good enough to be the first QB off the board but had medical concerns he wouldn't drop so far to be undrafted. There is a shocking number of people here who are so detached from reality to not be able to realize this guy has 0.0 chance to be the starter here this year or next. He will be fighting to earn a backup role on the team.

Your Hurts boner is extremely transparent sir.

You would think this was the Second Coming and the Strong walked on water at Nevada from the posts the last couple days.

I have previously enumerated my concerns about Hurts flaws.  Minshew is a smart short range QB but limited in his abilities. Sinnett is inconsistent as hell and his ball placement is bad.  So the Eagles signed two free agents.  Perry is athletic but inconsistent and has an arm similar to Minshew.  Might actually be an okay third QB.  Strong has a good arm.  Decent placement. But tends to lock on the first receiver.  Remember Trotter’s knees.  Basically got to be bone on bone. Well a cadaver cartilage replacement sure suggests that Strong is going to have some issues.  His mechanics aren’t great.  Given how many were looking at him in the draft, I am glad he has a chance to replace Sinnett.   But I wouldn’t trade away Minshew at this point. The Eagles have some flawed with some talent QBs, five of them right now.  May the best man win the holding spot for our next QB.

Not the Ravens?  Sure looks like they had the best draft.  Not that impressed with the cowpads and not the Falcons at all.  Giants had a good draft.  Bookends at OT for a long time. You Bucs had an interesting draft.

Joe Douglas is having an affair with Joe Flacco. No way he gives him up

I wanna see Foles to Tampa. That would be an odd couple

If only there were going to be a competition.  But there won't be.

Well, under the Jurgens rationale that he's got a better upside than the best center prospect in a while because the best center prospect is polished and Jurgens is not....and the rationale that Dean is a 1st round talent that only dropped due to injury concerns that are instantly not real............well, Strong dropped due to immaturity, the reality check of not getting drafted replaced the immaturity with humility, and BOOM, first round QB prospect to go with our first round OC and our first round linebacker (and actual first round DT and first round WR trade).

5 first rounders this year.

All he has to do is get to the #3 QB slot and impress with the scrubs and during PS games.  You make your own competition.

Ravens had nice one too    I just listed my favorites

Just as long as Strong heals, learns, and is ready to compete by seasons end.  He just needs to do what it takes to make himself valuable then...to derail a Hurts extension.

I just realised we didn't bring in a punter UDFA. Weird.

We must be on the same wavelength. I thought about that and how awkward it would be for Brady lol

That will work a lot better if the offense isn't tailored to a running QB... which I hate anyway.  So, maybe with the addition of Brown, they will force the offense to go back to be an NFL passing offense.

And because of that... they won't do it.  Brady won't have anything done with the roster against his wishes.

It is a mystery what’s going on with the run vs pass.  We know the pass dominant philosophy comes straight down from the owner (and he’s not wrong for it either).  He has dictated that for years, directly, to the coaches.  Their extreme (if ill-fated) investment in the WR position also is part of this.

And yet…they went out of their way to draft Hurts in round 2.  They went out of their way to keep him and support him as the starting QB.  Did they kick the tires on some well publicized upgrades?  Sure.  But these pass obsessed owner/GM/coach triumvirate have placed a run first QB in an offense that is built to throw, throw, throw.  They didn’t have to build it this way, but here we are.
