New England - retread in Belichek. Denver - retread in John Fox. Seattle - retread in Pete Carroll. That takes us back 8 Super Bowls, and the only coach that was a first timer at his new stop was Dougie P.

I would be more worried if shied away from physicality, but be doesn't I'm not saying he's shying away from contact, but he's listed as 6' and 225lbs. He's probably going to come in around 5'10" and closer to 215 if he's trying to show off his speed at the combine. TJ Edwards is listed as 6'1" 242 lbs and Singleton is listed as 6'2" 240lbs.

Bill Walsh had Joe Montana. Belichek had Brady. I agree with you on both those coaches, my only point is... the retread coach argument is a weak one. Retreads have won the Super Bowl... so one can't dismiss Quinn as a bad choice because he's a retread. If so, then so many HCs that later went on to win a Super Bowl are just retreads and shouldn't get a second sniff. Meanwhile, I wouldn't bring in a coach that already won the Super Bowl with another team, because no HC has ever managed to recreate that magic a second time with a new team. A few have gotten there, but not won. 2 minutes ago, e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! said: People are vicious with the memes on social media

I just like to take shots at AR and I don't like Arians....it's his face and his dumb hats he wears. I agree with you in principle on McDaniel... but I just couldn't get on board with McDaniel specifically.

As long as we don't take the PAC-10 one, I'm happy. I also see a day 2 S such as Pitre. Well, I love the corners and could see them grabbing one but I like the potential of Gowan and always have. At this point, Stingley is more potential than proven. Elam seems a boom or bust guy. Curious about the speed of the others. FS isn’t overly deep this year. Need to grab one early. I really like Brisker and think Hill can fix his hiccups.

'old boys club' - wins a Super Bowl at his new stop. Hmm... last two Super Bowl winners were coached by 'retreads'. Maybe retreads should get a second shot. Add Shula, Shanahan, Belichick, and Coughlin to that list. Edit: add Dungy, Carroll, and Kubiak
January 24, 20223 yr WR could be a position where FA is the ultimate 2 season solution to the problem, over drafting in rounds 1 or 2 again; especially if Hurts is QB and he won't consistently progress through multiple reads. You can use Gainwell more in the passing game also. You can argue OG/C is a bigger priority, without even touching the horror on D.
