Because reasons. Nevermind that he was originally drafted to be the heir apparent.

The committee has come out with the seedings for each region of the 2022 EMB Racist bracket. Got some good matchups

One mock I saw had the Eagles drafting Kenyon Green (I think) a guard and moving Dickerson to Center. I thought to my self "this would be popular at EMB"

Not the worst option. I prefer to leave the left as is but I can see that work!

Doug, the coach out of nowhere got it year two. Let’s hope for Siri going with that trend! 😁

Sure, but we could roll it back a little further... New England - retread in Belichek.  Denver - retread in John Fox.  Seattle - retread in Pete Carroll.   That takes us back 8 Super Bowls, and the only coach that was a first timer at his new stop was Dougie P.

Great investigative reporting Jordan, you clown. 😆😆

I don't see a big deal with his height. I would be more worried if shied away from physicality, but be doesn't

I'm not saying he's shying away from contact, but he's listed as 6' and 225lbs. He's probably going to come in around 5'10" and closer to 215 if he's trying to show off his speed at the combine. TJ Edwards is listed as 6'1" 242 lbs and Singleton is listed as 6'2" 240lbs.

Some underwhelming HCing candidates names being tossed about .

I haven’t read the blog until just now, so sorry if I missed your point. Siri is our HC and is here to stay for a couple years so.. who cares? (no offense)

I guess.  But hell, they both needed all world Hall of Fame QB's to do it.  Andy was a lifetime choker until Pat Mahomes came around.  Arians, got the benefit of getting the best QB in history to pick him.  I think Arians is overrated.  And my distain for Andy Reid is not a secret.

Sure.  Lots of coaches required that too.  Bill Walsh had Joe Montana.  Belichek had Brady.

I agree with you on both those coaches, my only point is... the retread coach argument is a weak one.  Retreads have won the Super Bowl... so one can't dismiss Quinn as a bad choice because he's a retread.  If so, then so many HCs that later went on to win a Super Bowl are just retreads and shouldn't get a second sniff.

Meanwhile, I wouldn't bring in a coach that already won the Super Bowl with another team, because no HC has ever managed to recreate that magic a second time with a new team.  A few have gotten there, but not won.

Mahomes brother and wife are insufferable. Go Bengals

Jackson Mahomes is everything I hate about the influencer generation.  He's made his way up to the most punchable face.  A grown man...and I'm hesitant saying that, who makes money by doing Tik Tok dances.  Shoot me.

My point was pretty clear.  Someone posted something... I responded.   Then you responded to that.  You'll figure out what my meaning was.

No one knew who Big Red was when he got the Eagles job.

I am with you.  That's why I argued against the dismissal of Mcdaniel so much.  Because it was a decade since he failed in Denver.  I just like to take shots at AR and I don't like Arians....it's his face and his dumb hats he wears.

I agree with you in principle on McDaniel... but I just couldn't get on board with McDaniel specifically.

They will absolutely be drafting a R1 or R2 corner. There's 4-6 legit first rounders. Stingley, Booth, Gardner, Elam, McCreary, McDuffie. As long as we don't take the PAC-10 one, I'm happy. I also see a day 2 S such as Pitre.

Well, I love the corners and could see them grabbing one but I like the potential of Gowan and always have.  At this point, Stingley is more potential than proven. Elam seems a boom or bust guy.  Curious about the speed of the others.  FS isn’t overly deep this year.  Need to grab one early. I really like Brisker and think Hill can fix his hiccups.

I wasn't sure if Arians was alive or a weekend at Bernie type yesterday.

Brady gonna retire and he will get fired in a year

Nice take.

Andy Reid... 'old boys club' - wins a Super Bowl at his new stop.
Bruce Arians... 'old boys club' - wins a Super Bowl at his new stop.

Hmm... last two Super Bowl winners were coached by 'retreads'.  Maybe retreads should get a second shot.

Add Shula, Shanahan, Belichick, and Coughlin to that list.

Edit: add Dungy, Carroll, and Kubiak

WR could be a position where FA is the ultimate 2 season solution to the problem, over drafting in rounds 1 or 2 again; especially if Hurts is QB and he won't consistently progress through multiple reads.  You can use Gainwell more in the passing game also.

You can argue OG/C is a bigger priority, without even touching the horror on D.

Oh, the list is long, but I was sticking with the most recent two just to keep it simple.

I'm okay with that. He will end up playing at 225 or so.

Unfortunately Hurts is not one.

I have also been a fan of Crowder and think a vet in the slot would be a massive upgrade.
