I know exactly what a comp claim is and stated it over and over again. I also told you that it doesnt matter the claim anymore, your rate will be affected.

Unless your dumb enough that you think can have an 60,000 dollar  comp claim each year and nothing will happen lol

Then again, you think a business who gets hit with an extra 1.5 Million dollar in taxes would never push it to the consumer

You live in a fantasy world sir

Lol....here we go. You threw out a 3% sales tax in SF on top of their 9% sales tax that goes directly to homeless people. Asked for proof, you had none, just that somebody you know told you this is true. A quick search reveals nothing of the sort, at all. AT ALL. So go ahead and defend it.

Next, we were discussing singular comp claims. If you have a $60K vehicle getting stolen every year, then the frequency of your claim activity is insane, and yes, your rates would rise. A singular theft, REGARDLESS of the amount paid for the replacement of the stolen vehicle, will not increase your rate. So stop twisting the arguments.

You gonna throw out combat waivers next?

Did we use all of our ‘21 cap on contract extensions/restructures or were we able to create more in ‘22 with what we had left?

Really how many people are fleeing socialist scandanavian countries to come to the US???

Now ask yourself how difficult is it to get into those countries as an immigrant?

Now if those people from socialist countries that do come to the US I assume you are talking about Venezuela and other like countries ask yourself how money if those countries did the US destabalize with military conflicts and coups and insert their own heads of government?

People from thriving countries with strong social safety nets aren't feeling their countries.

Will you be moving to a Socialist scandavian country?

https://fee.org/articles/the-myth-of-scandinavian-socialism/

As for the bolded, I dont have numbers in front of me, and I admittedly dont know what they are, would assume they would be fairly low overall. The question we should be asking in regards to comparing Scandavian Countries to the US, how many people are immigrating to them compared to the US? (use %'s)

i can only offer some anecdotal evidence from people I know through my professional life.

My Former employer's parent company is a worlwide company doing about $9 Billion Euro/yr, Their corporate headquaters (Family owned and listed in Forbes richest people) is in the Netherlands, and we had well over 100 people, that I knew of from the Netherlands who all asked to transfer to the US to live and work here just in the company I worked for alone. (They also owned two other fairly large comanies in North America) . Many have been here well over a decade now, and more continue to want to move here, some have become citizens of the US.  I had met so many really impressive people from the Netherlands and Germany through that company. I left that Company 5 years ago, but am still in touch with many of my former Holland co-workers. Each one of them was very happy they were accepted to work in the US. The company had a rigorous process in choosing who could get to come over as more were requesting to come vs. the number they would allow. I only knew of one off hand I can think of that was here for a bit and choose to go back home.

I know how the back end works, I sit in those meetings and I've been on the sales floor.

if you think you can have a 100,000 dollar comp claim and the insurance company will do nothing to your rate, you're an idiot.

But, heres progressive(never heard of them) apparently they say on there website they will raise your rates on a comp claim

https://www.progressive.com/answers/how-accidents-impact-insurance/#:~:text=Comprehensive claims (events beyond your control)&text=They remain on your record, for an at-fault accident.

Heres some company called car and driver(unsure who they are) Quoting companies like USAA and Geico that it gets raised.

https://www.caranddriver.com/car-insurance/a36165070/will-comprehensive-claim-increase-insurance/

But sure man, everyone else is wrong. National companies with the majority of Auto premium sales in the world are wrong.

Still, at Progressive, we won't charge you for comprehensive claims under $500 unless it happens multiple times.

  • Allstate: $944 with no claim and $949 with one comprehensive claim
  • Farmers: $762 with no claim and $786 with one comprehensive claim
  • GEICO: $638 with or without a comprehensive claim
  • Liberty Mutual: $823 with no claim and $829 with one comprehensive claim
  • Nationwide: $673 with or without a comprehensive claim
  • Progressive: $802 with no claim and $908 with a comprehensive claim
  • State Farm: $656 with or without a comprehensive claim
  • USAA: $474 with or without a comprehensive claim

As I stated, if your insurer raises your rates due to a singular, one time comp claim, you need to switch providers immediately.

So Geico, Nationwide, StateFarm and USAA don't rate them...

I remember you saying this before, but now that I know you spent time in the Clink with your high profile felon roommate, I guarantee you, Dirty Mike and the other boys passed around some homemade toilet wine every now and then.

Lol, nah but two old hippy meth heads snuck in some weed once, in their ass, and the whole pod got locked down And tossed, not sure how they thought guards wouldn't notice seeing as it stunk up the whole pod.

When I was with Earl we were in a cell just the two of us, we got out an hour a day for " rec" time, so no opportunity to mingle with other inmates other than the occasional chat 3 feet away through the door or constant fishing at night.

wait, so what is it? Comp claims never affect the rate or they do

It's crazy that you think we live in a world where a decent size Comp claim wont be penalized.

I mentioned it earlier. 6 Billion dollars a year in stolen car comp claims. You think the companies are eating that GTFO

You have serious comprehension issues. Which isn't surprising, considering your grammatical skills. See how it all ties together? You probably won't understand what I just wrote.

If one child is granted that what happens to the rest of the kids in that crappy school???

They all have that choice. The question is what happens to the crappy school if no one attends.

The argument against this is a good one, as it believes you are just moving the problems into areas where there are less problems, lowering the overall quality at the good schools. That is a fair concern. But I would rather at least give every child a fighting chance. Right now, we cant say that.

It's extremely difficult to get into those countries

New Zealand for instance a country with high social safety nets ranked the most free country in the world and in top 10 in worldwide happiness scale is impossible to get permanent residence in.

I lived their for two years on a work visa and getting back to live unless one is a billionaire is quite difficult. They don't let just anyone in.

You dont need Data to teach you common sense.

Youre comparing "my plan" to punish scumbags to a guy who just wanted to kill rando's?

At the end of the day, we have a ton of repeat offenders. And if you know ANYTHING about life, repeat means they didnt learn their lesson.

Hitler didn't want to kill random people.  He wanted to kill a lot of very specific people.  His rise was no different than other authoritarian regimes if you view them as political revolutions.  I mean the Red Terror continued post revolution police state are just the same thing carried out against different people.

Not something a good portion of people in our country will allow to happen. Can you imagine if we did that?

Why not just count every kid In school each year and give that money each kid would get under school choice to the school that way the school is properly funded for each kid in attendance?

There are certain physical differences that I think separate JJAW from London.

JJAW was 6'2 and 225

London is 6'5 and 210.

False! JJAW doesn't have hands

It almost seems inevitable. We do need a CB and McDuffie will likely be on the board when we pick. What could possibly go wrong?

He's a pathological liar for some reason. He first claimed that's how it sounded based on how he read it, then shortly after said someone told him that.

Well, that is always the goal right?   Win the offseason.

Jesus.... come on....

when they didnt spend, people complained every single year that they were cap space champions. If they do spend, people complain they are cap strapped, dead money, etc...

Obviously winning the offseason is not the ultimate goal. But it can hopefully help get you to your ultimate goal. I would think you would like them to make great moves. I guess if you dont like the GM though, making great moves is a bad thing.

Can we seriously not discuss any of the free agents I brought up? What has this place become. Just get sarcastic jabs in against the guys you dont like rather than having a decent conversation.
