True.  But they've been play calling very conservatively.  Can't play tentative against the Chiefs.

I would kick the field goal just because of how far away they are from the end zone in 4th down. Additionally i look including the third quarter of this game and the second half of the first game they played, the Chiefs have only scored 6 points. So whatever adjustments the bengals are making defensively has worked. However I think you are playing with fire just hoping that trend continues.

The playcall was horrible, agree there. Very conservative on that 3rd down. 

As for the FG, with this much time left you take the points to get within one score. If chiefs score again, makes it two again. But you miss that chance at points your down 3 scores. 

Situational football on that spot at that time of the game you take the FG. But again that 3rd down call was horrible..............soft.

Still wouldn’t have been second half points. But not getting that field goal was just dumb. Why give the bengals any belief they could come back with some momentum.

Huge break for Cincy.

Besides Ja’Marr Chase not going off in this game, this game is beginning to play out very similarly to the week 17 game. The bengals were down 11 at the half then their defense figured it out and held the Chiefs to just 6 points in the second half and they struggled. And the Bengals manage to come back at the end to win it. 

Blog would be in full on trade Mahomes mode right now. 

This is not the 2nd half I was expecting at all
