That’s been my point in this whole thing. Not so much you have to draft one this year but the theory that you’re just gonna be able to move up high enough in next year’s draft to get the guy you truly covet and love. There’s a chance you have assets but can’t get high enough to get the guy you want. There’s a chance there’s a team that doesn’t wanna move down where you are to give you that pick. There might not be a guy there at that time. So if there is somebody you truly love and covet then go get him. If not don’t force it.

What the Hell was that dumb play?  Losing yards?  Why not just hand it off?  Now you have to score a TD on this one play or risk an all or nothing 4th down if you don't kick the FG for the tie and you're further back now.

Yep... and frankly, it helped KC.  They needed to kill the clock so that they didn't lose on a last second FG if they couldn't get in the end zone.
