I haven't seen much of Deebo Samuel until recently but that guy runs with a ton of power.  Impressive player.

Damn.  That was an 18 play and 97 yard drive.  And that's twice the Rams have been in the RZ.  Have the 49ers even crossed the 50 yet?

Yes.  And crossed the goal line now.

Winter Olympics lend to the best drinking games.

I'm stoked.

Not something I have ever done, but definitely something I could support

But, but, but.....Reagor plays faster on the field than his 40 time in shorts.

Thanks, Howie.

GPS trackers for life.

Samuel is the luxurious combination of power and speed.

Well, if you want to over-extrapolate about a position from the championship games and playoffs:

Ty Hill, Cooper Kupp, Deebo Samuel, Ja’Marr Chase.

Thats a hell of a collection of bona fide #1 WRs, every one of whom contributed massive game changing big plays.

Stafford got smacked

And he was a second round pick no less

We win some, we lose some.  At least it's not our 'real' job, unlike a certain someone.

Still ive been doing the draft long enough that i like to think I  have a good eye

Kupp out there thinking he’s JJAW

then he remembers he’s kupp and not an enforcer

whoops.   Might have been 6.

Man i was wrong on his draft eval. I did not see much in him

Heck you weren't the only one, I mean what was he 3rd round pick?

Not sure too many imagined he'd be a triple crown receiver one day

I thought high end slot at best but he's far exceeded that, obviously.

This is the kind of comment that makes it hard to take other stuff you say seriously.  If you have not seen Deebo you don’t watch enough football.

Now that looked like Agholor, Reagor or JJAW!!!

Well, I am in a different camp.  I don't think they are going to get the QB (I hate the idea of trading away a ton of first round picks for an aged QB... and then having to pay them on top of it too).  So, the main focus will need to be defense.  BUT... I'd love to see Carson Strong brought in.  I'm bought in on that kid.  Sure... there's questions.  There always are.  But, only costing 1 first round pick, getting him cheap means a better opportunity to fix the rest of the troubles.

I'm with you here.  I think he's the most NFL ready QB in the class.  The knee is supposed to check out since he got the correct surgery for it.  He played on it all season and towards the end of the season even stopped wearing the knee brace.  He has a cannon of an arm with a quick release and that will get even better once he improves his mechanics and uses his legs to put more power into his throws.  What I really like is he had total control over the O and called protections and changed plays when he thought he needed to.  Maybe some of the other QBs in the class have that ability, but he's ahead of the curve there since he's been doing it and the rest of them not so much.

My fear is the knee will check out medically and he'll do well at the Senior Bowl then he'll shoot up draft boards and end up going in the top 10-12.  Hopefully most teams who are ready to pounce on drafting a QB early will be too focused on the dual threat thing and pass on him for one of the others and he'll fall to us.  He could be in the ballpark of Burrow with a stronger arm.  F, I'd love to have a QB like that.

Gotta come down with that. Turned his head the wrong way.

Really tough catch to make when it goes right over your head and you don’t have a chance to turn over one particular shoulder…but that is always a rough look.

You’re talking about the last couple plays before half?

McVay is so good.

Kupp open there too but went for the HR.

The devil you know vs the one you don't kinda thing.

Looked one of our receivers trying to catch that (not Smith)

There was a lot of us that love Debo Samuel coming out of South Carolina. I think he landed in the absolute perfect spot. Kyle Shanahan is the best at utilizing everything he does well into that offense. Last year he had a down year with a bunch of injuries so everyone kind of forgot about him. But his rookie year towards the end of the year, he was growing in the offense and getting better. he became a big part of their super bowl team down the stretch that year.

Shhhhh... don't say that out loud.

Pickett, Willis, Corrall, Howell, Ridder... those are the guys you want as an NFL GM.  Legs... most important feature of any QB.  Gotta be able to extend plays, make defenses defend you running the ball, etc.   Strong is just not a guy to build around.
