I saw that when the AFC players were announced and thought the same thing.  It is crazy back then because Josh Allen had been much better than Lamar Jackson for like a month and a half up until the announcement. It is so ridiculous that neither burrow or Josh Allen made it but Lamar Jackson did. 

Looked like they gave him extra on that spot.

Gene Serratore is working with CBS now.    BTW... I always thought he was a great referee.  

He looked short of the red line so depending how accurate that is the question.  Even Buck said it was a generous spot.  Hell, maybe they'll push it back 6 inches.

 

The nfl doesn’t deserve to have a franchise that can’t outnumber opposing fans in a home championship game go to a SB.

If this is what it’s like when the Rams are one of the best teams in the nfl, what is going to happen in that stadium when the natural ebb and flow delivers the Rams to mediocrity or worse?

The nfl is so lucky that the Rams have been highly competitive in their LA time and that the Chargers landed Herbert.  Otherwise, this double franchise LA idea could have been really ugly.

Was a dumb challenge. They were never going to overturn that and he really wasn’t even close to the line to gain. I thought they gave him a generous spot.
