They make a lot of money with those two teams there based off sales of suites and tv money and other things with the la market. The Fanbase was like the least of their concerns when making that move. It was purely a money grab from everything else they get out of the La market.

I like Stafford and would be cool to see him go to and win a SB after suffering for so long in Detroit, but it'd be wasted with that fanbase. LA is a basketball town, they don't appreciate football.

1999 Rams come to mind…huge underdogs at the beginning of the season…but they were so uniquely dominant so fast that they were favorites come playoff time. 8-8 Giants?
