Thank you... you are correct.

I was about to post that myself.

What is Reagor doing, how do you get shut down that bad? Dude is absolute trash. Good lord!

On the flip side, I know the CB is allowed contact inside 5 yards but that seems excessive. What do you guys think flag or is it clean?

Except Reagor did win; he fought inside and Dean almost fell down.  The throw is wide open as a 5-yard gain.

EDIT -- Dean DID fall down, and Reagor is WIDE F'N OPEN, RIGHT IN FRONT OF HURTS!!  Throw the ball instead of rolling right and that's at least a 15 yard gain (if Reagor catches it).

Reagor couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag. In terms of a sports thing only I can't stand that guy. Easily in my top 3 for most disliked players. He's trash.

I want to see that play continue to be zoomed out. Dean gets a great jam initially, but he falls over and Reagor has him beat. Its only shown in slow mo. How long did that actually take? That may have been a win for Reagor.

Once he is open, Id like to know how long it took for Hurts to see that. Might have been fine if the QB could see the field and not deliver everything super late.

We already know he didnt need to leave the pocket when he did.

And we already know Baldy is lieing. Those safeties didnt take the deep stuff away. Its not 3 verts. Thats the play where Watkins had a TD on his post route if Hurts climbed the pocket and threw it there.

Clean. He breaks off contact at basically 5 yards past the LOS. Stuff like this they should let them play unless its egregious.

Ok. Baldy is dead wrong on this play. That’s the same play that Watkins got open deep right as Hurts was peeling out of an open pocket.  Hurts steps up and fires it, easy TD.

he has it zoomed in so you cant see anything except what he is telling you. Which happens to be complete horseshit.

There was no reason for Hurts to leave the pocket.  The Bucs are baiting him into moving to his left and making him less effective.  He may have been able to make a late throw to Reagor had his feet not been moving.

so what you can see here is that, Hurts never looked left before scrambling. If he had, he would have seen Reagor breaking open and he had a clean pocket to stand in and deliver. He ran first, THEN saw it, and delivered it way late. All of that, after having missed the TD to Watkins on the same play.

He does that A LOT.   And kudos to the Bucs forcing him left in so doing.  They really put a wall to his right side of the pocket on most plays.   They left the left side as his exit... and he looked very uncomfortable.   VERY... uncomfortable.

And that throw when he escaped left that turned into a pick on the double move by Smith...  a QB with a 'plus' arm gets that ball past the safety for the TD.  A QB without a plus arm needs to anticipate that the WR will be open on the double move and chuck it before he escapes the pocket.

So for all future issues, are we officially done blaming McNabb and blaming Wentz going forward ??

Never! Always good to have options.

and Reagor is who Hurts eventually tried to throw it to, but the throw was so bad it was batted -- and would have been a mile behind Reagor if it wasn't.

Gotta think Nick and Howie see some of this stuff -- hopefully they don't think it's fixable, because I don't think it is.

Hopefully a clear-eyed view of what this team needs and how good or not-so-good the team is.

What are you thoughts on Daxton Hill?  I can't put my finger on whether he's best suited at S, NB or tweener roles.

He does THAT a lot too.  He drops his eyes to look at the rush WAY too much.

Harris is a guy that I think I'd prefer to have... and maybe grab him in Round 2.   Nah... Bama LB, he'll be a first rounder by the time the draft comes around.

I think Christian Harris is the best LB prospect in this draft class, so there is no chance the Eagles will get him.

I hesitate to offer excuses, but I will in Goedert's case. The Eagles actually ask him to block, unlike, say, Travis Kelce. That beats up his hands.

I'd add that I think the 'usage' was down and as a key component he forced the issue too much when the ball came his way.  Trying to think of a PC way to describe our passing attack.

Oh I know.  He's one of those, "Hurts deserves another season" guys.

He has a point about the play though. Reagor gets eaten up on the line and is late to get off the press. I don't interpret it as taking the blame off Hurts on the play, just showing how Reagor was bad too.

ESP already spouting off how all the Eagles need is an elite QB and elite pass rush next year to win the Super Bowl

Goedert and Smith somehow combined for 23 targets. They had 10 catches, but I think only 11 of those attempts were even catchable.

Nothing Sirianni could do, other than run Howard more (or at all).  Bucs were blitzing their safeties off either OT -- sometimes both.  I said this at halftime, cannot have the other team's safeties making plays behind your LOS.

Bowles stacked the box and dared the Eagles to beat them through the air.  I'm sure the coaches knew it was coming; we knew it was coming.  Our QB can't complete the slants that Aikman kept calling for, he couldn't get the ball to the sideline on 4th down -- should have been a pick.  The RPO's got swallowed up behind the LOS.  Shut down Hurts' running lanes and it's game over for the offense.  Nothing can be done if the QB can't throw.

Defensively it was the same thing we saw all season against good opposing QBs.  The game was a scrimmage.  31-0 in the 3rd quarter is a scrimmage.

They would send a safety and drop a DL , they weren’t bringing 8  , just some creative pressure .
