Is there a more useless profession than influencer? (from a rather useless generation, I might add)  I say it's not a sustainable income in the long run, most of the "influencers will end up poor with no real life skills in the end!.

A friend cited a study at a large inner city High Shool, all students were polled what they wanted to do for a career  = 70+% wanted to be either an influencer or youtube video creator.   If you are between the ages of 30-50 you will witness what happens when that generation is in control.

And there was a generation that wanted to grow and be rock stars (or at least get laid)

And a generation that wanted to go to Hollywood and star in movies.

Reality TV has been around for a while.

This will die off as viewers get bored, clicks drop, revenues drop and they have to do something else, like become a television evangelical preacher.

Get rich quick schemes have attracted people for a century.

I think Andy Reid's coaching tree itself hurt Bienemy.

Bowles- Terrible, Pederson - Lucky, childres, terrible, Culley, terrible, Frazier - terrible, Nagy- Terrible, Rivera- extremely overrated. Shumur, Awful,

Head coaching wise Spags isnt good.

That leaves Harbaugh and Mcdermott.

Why do coaches from Bilichick's tree keep getting chances then? They have had a far worse track record than Reid's.

Bienemy's biggest issue is his multiple arrests, assaults, DUI, and allegedly being linked with a recruiting sex scandal when he was younger. According to your view on the judicial system, he should be locked up for the rest of his life.

Did this all happen a long time ago and there hasn't been any recent incidents, yeah, but I bet a team doesn't want to deal with those headaches it will cause.

If I recall correctly, late in each game, driving for a score and he throws the dreaded forced INT in each game that helped seal the deal.

That was the case against the Bucs. Against the Panthers, he did have three picks in the game but Greg Favors hit him late causing a rib injury that forced Koy to play all or most of the 4th quarter. Koy did throw a late pick in that game.

I never know what to make of these stats, but that's pretty damning if Hurts was the second most well supported QB in the NFL, given his performance.

That's the same takeaway I had in regards to Hurts. I think it also shows Sirianni knows how to put an offense together, they just lack someone that can execute it at a high level.

I think Mcnabb had 4 in his first 6.  First year missed playoffs, 2nd year I believe they lost in the divisional playoffs to the Giants with the infamous Jason Sehorn bobble-pick.  Year 3 kicked off the 4 straight NFCCG's.

Then Mcnabb went to one more after that where we lost to the Cards, right?

Yup, played great against the cards in 08?

Defense choked that one away ☹️

For the Hurts Washers - And the  Bengals dont have the Oline we have here. WHat they do have is a franchise QB.

Does anyone know when was the last time two #4 seeds (or worse) were in the Super Bowl?  Curious.

Hasn't Bieniemy had chances to interview but declined?   I know last year the Eagles extended an interview and he said no thanks.

Hard to get offered a HC job when you don't interview for one.

Between the ACL and not playing a full year last year, Burrow is basically a rookie next year.

Breaking news, Howie has contacted 30 GMs about possible player, draft pick trades!

I think calling other GMs and sounding out possible deals is part of the job description.

Which one team is he freezing out?

Bengals have drafted at...

- 2021: 5
- 2020: 1
- 2019: 11
- 2018: 12
- 2017: 9

They have been bad for 5 straight years, picking at worst 12 in each draft. They lucked into a QB class with Burrow as the #1 overall pick in a year in which they were not tanking (they were just bad). So they have an accumulation of young, cheap talent + luck.

This is not some master rebuild.

McNabb was just dreadful against the Bucs and Panthers.  I have no interest in going back to watch again to remember which was worse, but they were both really bad performances.

That panthers one he took a cheap shot in the ground that wasn't called, and played with a broken rib.

If I remember didn't AJ Feeley finish the game???.

Also Ike Reese started that game as I think Emmons got hurt and Reese actually played well

They had a few other key guys hurt as well and if course the refs let the panther DBs rake the WRs all game, then the following season passed the new no contact after 5 yards rule which morphed into the no defense til the playoffs league we have today.

It's almost like the league gives all the advantages to the offense in season to sell tickets and then playoffs roll around and the refs let the defense actually play.

There have been a fair amount of defensive battles in playoffs this year after a whole regular season of offenses just running wild.

I know he has had multiple interviews in the past. Its not like he isn't even getting the opportunity to interview for a HC job. I don't know if he declined because he thought it was to fulfill the Rooney rule or what, but he is getting opportunities.

Say it with me, it's ok, everyone knows - Without Burrow, they still would be crap. Having a Franchise QB makes all the difference. Cmon, we all saw it over the past 2 weekends. Without a true franchise QB you have almost no shot.

OBJ is an interesting story.  Both the Giants and Browns couldn't get anywhere with him but he seems to have found his stride with the Rams.

Was he a #2 WR at CLE?

I think if he settles out of court much like Rothlisberger did that sponsors will turn a blind eye as they like the NFL just care about the money.

Most fans have no idea about Ben's two rape cases, he won super bowls and then stayed out of trouble and was marketed well and in the eyes of the NFL and most fans he gets a free pass.

Heck one of the biggest faces of the NFL in the early 2000s was Ray lewis who was most likely part of a murder cover up.

If it's not caught on tape( Ray rice ect...) or found guilty in court  the court of public opinion doesn't seem to care.

I imagine if Watson settles out of court in a years most fans sponsors teams won't pay any mention to his past.

It's not right but it is what it is.🤷‍♂️

Can't recall seeing Big Ben getting a lot of sponsorships.  Can't even recall any national sponsorships.

They Had Marvin Lewis until 2018. Taylor took over the team in 2019 with a terrible roster and started the rebuild then.

They added 2 players in 2 consecutive years who were better talents and producers than anyone the Eagles have added to their roster in 35 years (and that goes for a lot of teams besides just our Eagles).  Burrow was luck...the consensus #1 QB when they had the #1 pick.  Chase wasn't.  They had a lot of options there, including Sewell and trading down.  Then they had quite a bit of luck in the playoffs (Mahomes playing poorly 1 week after looking like the QB version of Michael Jordan).

I agree that it wasn't a master rebuild.

If they were crystal ball level brilliant, they'd have taken the 3 first round picks from the Dolphins, drafted Herbert at 4, and would have a chance to be the NFL's next dynasty.

I'm not sure how Cleveland used him.  I read that Mayfield apparently couldn't throw a certain type of pass/route that OBJ excels at.  Something along those lines, from what I recall.

Sure sponsors will be tripping over themselves to attach a guy who has sexually assaulted over 20 women to their brand.

Kobe Bryant did worse, hired a crisis management team, then became a legend.

Stranger things have happened.

Yes, they are missing Jim Kelly and Fran Tarkenton.  Donovan thinks he's the only one ever to be slighted.
