Hurts is right in the middle of the pack, around Wentz, below the top 10-12 that would make most fans happy, above the bottom half that shows you can do much, much worse.

So we traded Wentz, got a 3rd and 1st, cleared cap room, and ended up with a starter almost 6 years younger who is just as good (or bad).

If Hurts can incrementally upgrade his game this offseason, nothing drastic, just improvement across the board, mechanics, accuracy, recognition, anticipation, and he could be close to a top ten QB next year. Especially if he gets a reliable possession WR and a power running back. Imagine if Reagor had actually made a few plays?

I don’t mind them paying for a backup QB. Still felt Daniel they paid way more then they should’ve. I was for when they signed foles back to be the backup and i got into it on the blog and didn’t come back to the blog for a couple months after that argument. My issue like you is don’t eye backups in the second round when you have a ton of holes elsewhere. Get yourself starter projected for the future and now cause you had a bunch of aging starters. there was actually a good market for backup QBs. It was as bad of logic as the eagles believing they fixed the WR corps relying on desean to stay healthy and drafting 3 rookies during a pandemic.

Problem with his stats are they are loaded with a bunch of garbage time stats when teams start playing the umbrella coverages

If you disagree with the usage of these stats, maybe try to show how these stats apply to the top QBs in the league. Surely, stats that are this broken would not get the top QBs in the league correct, right?

Lot of discussion about a bridge QB not named Hurts in the last few weeks including Jimmy G (draft capital) and Carr (draft capital).  Why not Winston?  He can throw the ball.  Yes, a serious knee injury but is he worse than Carr or Jimmy G.  Heck, is Tribursky worse than Jimmy G?  I could see Howie taking a flyer on a cheap UFA QB.

This isn’t going to last the entire offseason. The Eagles will get a QB soon.
