Flores alleges that the Broncos gave him an interview they didn't care about just to honor the Rooney Rule, which is hard to prove, as that's his own opinion, but even if it were true, that's one of the drawbacks of the rule. You have a guy in mind that you really want, and have to interview someone you don't want to fill a quota, so they aren't going to be taken as seriously. It's unprofessional, they should do their job and take the interview seriously as professionals(if the allegation is true) but that in itself is not proof of racial bias.

No they didn't. They interviewed Patrick Graham and Leslie Fraser.

This is the tough part; do you trade Dillard pre-draft or afterward?

I think Howie could get a 3rd round pick for him right away.  If he tries to swing a deal right after the draft to a team that missed in the draft, maybe a 2023 2nd wouldn't be out of the question.

I want to start building up future draft picks. We are pretty good for this year. I would look to trade back with one pick at least once, pick up a 2023 pick, probably a later 2022 pick all the while staying in round 1.
If Cox can be traded, I'd take 2023 picks for him too. Same for Dillard...

I don't see how that's discrimination at all.

Safe to say his coaching days are over

getting tired of the whole racism stuff , wouldn’t have heard a peep from Flores if he still had a job

So now he's suing 3 teams and the NFL. He's going down in a blaze of glory.

Moral of the story is never have two coaches on your staff named Brian.

NFL will settle, they always do. They do not want to deal with discovery and depositions.

They will pay him go away money.

And enough with the Rooney rule , get a job/interview on merit not skin color

He alleged the reason it was broken though was because of racism. Which I've seen no evidence of.

I mean if the NFL had 31 minority owners , what would the HCing field look like ?

There you have it. Straight from the mouth of known racist Brandon Graham.

Funny that he didn't seem too enthusiastic about Hurts. Can't imagine why.

The Rooney rule is broken???😳

They own the teams , they should be able to hire who they want , not forced to interview minority candidates

Who are they talking about?

He was interviewed, the Giants were in accordance with the rooney Rule.

Just because BD knocked it out of the park doesnt mean issh

You are missing that the Giants had made the decision to hire Daboll BEFORE interviewing Flores or any minority candidate.

So let me get this straight

Flores gets fired for being diffacult to work

Flores interviews with the Broncos

Daboll interviews with the Giants

a rumor spreads that the giants love daboll

Flores interviews  Giants

Daboll gets the job.

^^^^that is called LIFE!

It's besides the point, but the Flores interview with Denver is from 2019, not this year.

Brady

I would be embarrassed/insulted , if I were a minority , with the Rooney rule .

The bombshell report is more that if the owner offered to pay Flores 100k extra to lose games.

Brady?

Maybe. I thought of that but I'm confused why Flores would seem unhappy with that, being they worked together in NE.

I'm all for inclusion and equality but the Rooney rule seems like the wrong way to go about it.

The Rooney rule itself is more racist then what it's trying to correct.

Why don't they focus on fixing the pipeline that gets more minority coaches into offensive coaching positions, since most head coaches are from offensive backgrounds? More minority coaches on offense will lead to more minority candidates for head coach.
