February 1, 20223 yr Flores alleges that the Broncos gave him an interview they didn't care about just to honor the Rooney Rule, which is hard to prove, as that's his own opinion, but even if it were true, that's one of the drawbacks of the rule. You have a guy in mind that you really want, and have to interview someone you don't want to fill a quota, so they aren't going to be taken as seriously. It's unprofessional, they should do their job and take the interview seriously as professionals(if the allegation is true) but that in itself is not proof of racial bias.

If he tries to swing a deal right after the draft to a team that missed in the draft, maybe a 2023 2nd wouldn't be out of the question. I want to start building up future draft picks. We are pretty good for this year. I would look to trade back with one pick at least once, pick up a 2023 pick, probably a later 2022 pick all the while staying in round 1. If Cox can be traded, I'd take 2023 picks for him too. Same for Dillard...

February 1, 20223 yr Safe to say his coaching days are over getting tired of the whole racism stuff , wouldn’t have heard a peep from Flores if he still had a job

February 1, 20223 yr NFL will settle, they always do. They do not want to deal with discovery and depositions. They will pay him go away money.

February 1, 20223 yr I mean if the NFL had 31 minority owners , what would the HCing field look like ?

February 1, 20223 yr They own the teams , they should be able to hire who they want , not forced to interview minority candidates

Just because BD knocked it out of the park doesnt mean issh You are missing that the Giants had made the decision to hire Daboll BEFORE interviewing Flores or any minority candidate.

It's besides the point, but the Flores interview with Denver is from 2019, not this year. 4 minutes ago, LeanMeanGM said: Who are they talking about? Brady
February 1, 20223 yr The bombshell report is more that if the owner offered to pay Flores 100k extra to lose games.

February 1, 20223 yr Why don't they focus on fixing the pipeline that gets more minority coaches into offensive coaching positions, since most head coaches are from offensive backgrounds? More minority coaches on offense will lead to more minority candidates for head coach.
