Well I think the timeline was that they hired the GM on the 21st,  interview Daboll on the 21st, Frazier on the 22nd, then had Daboll back on the 25th, Frazier on the 28th and then hired Daboll officially on the 28th.

Something along those lines. I think they jumped on Daboll or officially offered him the job because the Dolphins were in on him as well. It was really all about timing and that text from BB doesnt have a timestamp that I can see.

If the 2020 season was the lowest point this team will get under Lurie, then we are truly one of the lucky ones.

The Stephen Ross part it just so, strange. To me it is almost like Ross was drunk at a party and someone was talking about QBs that they liked coming out of the draft and he shouted over to Flores and said "Hey Brian, I'll pay a $100k per loss!" and then they laughed about it. Like it was a throwaway comment. I just can't see a owner being that stupid and that is even after watching all the dumb things that Danny boy has does over the years.

It just feels like it was a throwaway line - something said in the moment as a joking situation. It just reads that way.

Now saying that - I do agree that Miami is a complete mess and I wouldn't be shocked as well if Flores produced an email or other people collaborate that he said that and was serious.

I know he had success at SDSU and Stanford, but the NFL seems like a much better spot for him. He’s need the kind of guy who is comfortable with kissing butts of high school kids.

The eagles taking Jordan Davis would be a shocking move, when was the last time if ever the eagles had a big fat NT.

I like Jordan Davis and im sure Gannon would like a big NT but I can't see Howie Lurie going that way.

He just doesn’t fit the 4i if that’s their plan moving forward. I’d rather see Leal, Wyatt, Hall, Jones, or Winfrey for our line.

Ojabo is a natural successor to Brandon Graham.  Fellow Michigan alum, wears 55; a year with Graham’s teaching would help him a lot.

Does a washed up William Perry count?   A never was in Bruce Walker who couldn't make the team in his first training camp?   Or Hollis Thomas?

I’ve been seeing mocks lately with Leal slipping a bit.  Hard to figure the Eagles would take 2 DL in the 1st round, but Leal and a quality edge rusher would make for a really good looking DL really quickly
