Impressive  , McBride is hell of a player , my top TE

Not all 32 are white.  Khan is Pakistani and Pegula is Asian.  The argument over why isn’t there more black owners in the NFL always cracks me up.  Most NFL owners net worth is over $1 billion.  There is only 7 black billionaires in the states.  So odds are extremely low of a black person owning a team

To quote what Eugene Chung was told by a team, Khan and Pegula are not the right minority.

I like Danny Gray. Took him on one of my mocks the other day.  He reminds me a bit of Gabriel Davis.

Impressive set of WRs at SMU. Lots of speed.

Majority were not interested in Johnson because of his age , age don’t bother me with him or JoJo

How old will Johnson be his rookie season? 23?

Domann will be 25. Big difference.

I like Beavers. I want an all CFP draft from Howie as the theme this year. Lol Only Bama, Georgia, Cinci or Michigan players allowed.

And both will see the field right away , so draft a 21 or 22 year old rookie and watch him stand on the sidelines for a year or so

.  Jefferson at the end of Round 1 wasn't expensive.  Agree on Van Jefferson in Round 2.

I thought J.Jefferson was going ahead of our pick, remember Ceedee falling within reach was a surprise - so a domino effect of WRs being pushed down.

What makes you say it was a sham interview to fulfill the Rooney rule?

Flores was told by Belicheck that Daboll had the job before Flores interviewed. Even if Frazier interviews twice, the Giants still need 2 external minority candidates to satisfy the Rooney Rule.

Yet still would have been better than Commanders.  Extremely generic.  Reminds of the names you would see on a bad unlicensed 80’s/90’s sports video game.

Ok?  And.  Still doesn’t justify using a 1st on him.  A 3rd rounder could be better than Barnett.

Commanders is beyond stupid. Senators would even be a better choice.

When will Nike, UA, Adidas or anyone involved in designing new uniforms realize that you don't have to add black to every team.  It cheapens the look and takes the individuality out of each teams identity.  I hated when the Eagles added black.  The Lions had a dreadful 2000s with their black accented uniforms, same with the 49ers.  The Cardinals have the worst uniforms in the NFL.

The Lions were smart to drop black from their uniform 5 years ago and their are rumors they might change uniforms this year (it's been 5 yeas).

Raiders, Steelers, Bengals and Saints are the only teams who should focus on black.

-Panthers should drop black all together and go with Carolina blue, white and silver.

-Jags should do the same and go with turquoise, gold and white.

-Ravens should be purple, gold and white.

-Buccaneers should have went back to creamcicle.

-Jets should be green and white.

-Vikings should drop black from their helmets

-Lastly, the Eagles should go back to Kelly green and silver.

Agree with all of this, except the Ravens. Black seems to fit well for them

I've never seen it say 'two'.  I've only ever seen it say one or more.

But, they interviewed Frazier AND Patrick Graham before Flores.

But, even so, I don't think this is about racism at all, but about the new GM bringing in a guy he was familiar with.  And he interviewed both coordinators from his old post for 2 interviews.   I'm not saying that racism isn't involved in some of this, but its going to be really hard to prove.  But, it doesn't seem to me that they broke any rules.  The big question to me remains... why are the Giants putting their information out to Belichek?

What makes you say it was a sham interview to fulfill the Rooney rule?  They brought in Leslie Frazier TWICE.

When you are in a rush to pursue a coach and secure them before they end up with the competition, a verbal, unofficial, and under-the-radar commitment followed by sham minority interviews is the only option.  Don't blame the Giants.  Blame the rule.

The last coach the Eagles hired who was actually in demand was Chip Kelly.  That ended up being a drawn out extended saga.  If he had committed with the initial courtship, Lurie would have sham-interviewed it too.

Yup.  Ravens are pretty well none for being 'black birds'.

Oh, there's no doubt the rule is not helping anything.  All the rule does is call into question the motives behind why certain people are brought in for an interview.

If an under the radar white coach is brought in, I've seen people question the team about their sanity (i.e. McCown for the Texans), but when an under the radar black coach is brought in, especially if he's the first, I've seen people declare its just to fulfill the Rooney Rule and get it out of the way.

It is sad that we live in the world we do, where people can't be judged by their qualifications alone... but the biggest factor in getting a GM or HC job remains networking.  And like it or not, Brian Flores has a less than stellar network.  Belichek assistants have a pretty lousy track record as HCs in the NFL.   I'd love to see him as the new DC if Gannon gets hired, but with this going down, he's likely going to have a very hard time getting back into good graces with the NFL.

My man killing it , steal

He would be a great versatile option here. They need more pass catching weapons in general.

All depends if he can prove his allegation. As it stands, it all seems to be hearsay, opinions and observations. If there is no hard evidence with the serious allegations he’s throwing around, then I agree, he’s likely done in the NFL.

Patrick Graham is an internal candidate. He does NOT count towards the Rooney Rule. The rule is 2 external minority candidates.
