Yeah, that impacts his cognitive functions and prevents him from seeing the field and progressing through his receivers. He sucks.

Black and yellow uni looks like a Steelers uni?

At first I thought the black jersey was just very dark gray, like a shade or two from black. That would've been better and more original  than just using black. Whatever

So a QB whose only asset worth defending is running and he's going to spend the offseason recovering from ankle surgery?  This is good news?

That actually has more style than that team will ever have. And I don’t even like commies.

The Washington Commanders.

Commanding cheerleaders to take their clothes off and join sponsors in their hotel room since 2007.

My best friend is a lifelong Redskins fan, we used to make fun of him in school calling them the butt skins, but he didn't care because back in the 80's and 90's they were really good.

I showed him this pic and he said yup, that sums it up good thing they aren't my team anymore, it's sad and funny at the same time.

My mom dad and Brother are all Skins fans. Dad just told me this morning after 50 plus years he's done. Snyder is the worst. I'll miss the rivalry with my family. It's just sad at this point. They probably gonna follow the Ravens now.

Yup, I'll miss the rivalry with my friend, he already had one foot out the door with Snyder and the stadium and this New name and colors just pushed him out.

Zion getting reps at C is interesting. I wonder if  OT Trevor Penning would be better shifted inside to OG. Did you notice if he is taking snaps there in these practices?

The tanking thing is getting bigger

That's Mr. Snyder to you, simpleton

Sadly, Commanders was by far the best team name of the final 8 choices.  The process was off the rails by that point.

The color scheme is fine; they keep the maroon and yellow -- don't like the Commanders lettering across the front, though.  Not a fan of the basic black third jersey -- they should have done more there.  The white looks not bad at all.

I like the helmet design.  Helmet logos are also redesigned quite frequently, so it can be improved upon easily.

I went there for the eagles game this year. Just a trash dump. They didn't even have anyone to sing the national anthem. They put the words on the board and played music while asking the fans to sing.

I suspect that the Supreme Court may well doom the Rooney rule and its compensation package in the Harvard/UNC case. Roberts may try to force a limited ruling on just admissions but it is likely to be another chip out of affirmative action.   A compensation package that could be viewed as favoring one minority at the expense of others seems to run into the same issue that the Harvard case faces where such can be exclusionary.  The injunctive relief sought by Flores is exclusionary on its face.

That is a problem faced by affirmative action in the past for example, consider Bakke.  There the Supreme Court affirmed affirmative action but denied allowance of quotas (Harvard and to some extent Rooney).  The exclusionary aspect of affirmative action is softened a bit by the requirement of hiring woman and minority owned businesses on government contracts.  Thus while retaining some of the exclusionary basis of affirmative action, it becomes inclusionary by addressing all minorities.

Consider the Rooney rule from the perspective of Catherine Raiche.  Might she not be considered for a role because of race.  Might a team pick Cunningham over her as assistant GM because they get a chance of draft compensation when that assistant GM takes the next step?

The Rooney rule and the injunctive relief sought by Flores are not inclusionary.   Perhaps the NFL designed it that way so it would fail if challenged.  What one hopes is that it gets expanded rather than done away with in its entirety until the playing field is more even but I wouldn’t bet on that with the current Supreme Court.  I expect a further chipping away past Bakke rather than an affirmation because of the combination of the UNC case.  UNC seems within the scope of Bakke while Harvard does not.

BTW, Bakke was a former serviceman who was trying to get into medical school.  He felt because he was bottom rung that all things being equal, he was denied admission because of the racial quotas and he was right to some degree.  People got offended at his challenge.  One aspect of his plight was some medical schools turned him away because in his thirties, he was too old.  Age discrimination isn’t considered in most affirmative action programs.  Their inclusionary basis need not be all inclusionary.  After all, most everybody is in a minority on some level.

Wow if news gets out that multiple teams/coaches were paid To tank games the NFL is going to have a lot to answer for.

not really surprising tanking occurs in nba and nfl. Quickest way to get blue chip prospects onto a roster. Even hockey and baseball do it when there’s a generational prospect at the top of the draft. The thing that makes it a unique situation is actually paying coaches extra bonus money for losses. the sixers told Brett brown of hinkie’s plan and he signed on to get paid to basically losing games for 3-4 years. However they didn’t add bonuses for doing it.

Now Hue Jackson is snitching?

At this point, I’m not sure if anything could hurt the cause for which they’re (supposedly) standing up. But, these guys certainly aren’t helping.

I think there’s a difference between playing young guys and purposefully trying to lose. Makes them look worse as coaches too.
