The Supreme Court has always been a political body.  They are charged with interpreting a political document.  They are also influenced by the events around them.  I mean look at the Schenk decision, Plessy v. Ferguson or a host of others.  You can point fingers at one party or another but the decisions go beyond party lines.    What I hope for are decisions that preserve personal property and rights over those of the government in general.

I dunno about that.  Conservatives were cheering ACB and Kavanaugh but both of them from what I've read have made moves that go against Conservative values and such.

Sham or not, to have the sitting President openly tell us that he is going to make an appointment to the highest court in the nation based off of race and sex is unbelievable.  What's more unbelievable is that the media hasn't said a peep about it.  Shoe on other foot...if 45 had had openly told is he was going to appoint a white male, it would have been the main talking point for days and calls for impeachment would have rained down.

If a black woman has the best qualifications and is best for the job, I hope she gets it.  We'll never know now because of what was said.  Going with percentages again, if 100 people were qualified to be SCJ, Biden is openly throwing out 90 of them without even looking at them and picking from 10.  It's wrong. Best person for the job, any job.

Most likely and I'm not arguing that at all.  My issue is with the remarks made about how the decision is being made plus the lack of anyone in the media giving a damn.
