2022 Hurtscuses:

- Too many different systems

- He doesn't play defense/not his fault

- He's good because he beats terrible teams, but loses against good teams. Hey, that's normal.

What else can we add to the list?

And if he has a 40 time of 4.59 or better the Eagles should consider him.

I'll consider him if he runs better than 7.2

If you’re mediocre, yes. The rest of us aren’t satisfied with mediocre.

He wants to run a triple option with another mobile QB and Jordan Mailata at the goal line. Don't bother.

Pitre just confirming how underrated he is.

Like always posting trash. QBs are suppose to be able to throw the ball with a option to run. Not the other way around. Look at the SB, where is your Running QB? Where was your running QB in the Conf Championships?

You're wrong again.

If there are 25 QBs who don't run great,  it's more likely that those QBs will make the Super Bowl.

Basic math that you don't get.

Pickett will NEVER be anywhere near as good a runner as Willis or Hurts.

The great running that Hurts has brought and Willis would bring means wins.

Hollow wins against bad teams maybe

I prefer my QB to throw first and only run when needed. Arguably the two best "running” QBs in NFL history, Vick and Lamar, won nothing.

There have been very few running QBs.   If half the QBs every year were running QBs,  there would be a lot of running QBs winning the Super Bowl.

Russell Wilson won the Super Bowl.   He has run for a lot of yards, making him a running QB.  He certainly was a running QB when he was going to the Super Bowl and winning.

Top QB rushing yards seasons in NFL history  (leaving out a Jackson and a Vick)

1 Jackson
2 Vick
3 Douglass
4 Cunningham

5 Wilson
6 Murray
7 Griffin
8 Hurts

None of them won a thing. And no, Wilson does not count. Wilson’s arm is light years ahead of Hurts or Willis in terms of power and accuracy. He’s also adept pre-snap.

I kind of wish I knew you IRL to hear some of your hot takes on things outside of football. Things you might actually  know something about, like "why living in your parents basement at 34 is the absolute best.” Or, "who showers EVERY day?”

Mafe , Pitre , Wyatt ,Tindall  just a few of my favorites who have made some money this week .

Agreed on all 4. Tindall’s speed was on full display. Perrion Winfrey who is a favorite of mine looked great as well.

I cant think of any Running QBs winning anything. Mahomes is not a running QB. hes a very good read progression QB who can run as a last option. Even Russell Wilson in the SB ran for maybe 25 yards. He won with his arm and great reads.

It's the "they're not running QBs because I like them" argument that I've heard so much.

Russell Wilson has the 4th most rushing yards in NFL history.  Only 4 QBs in NFL history have had more rushing yards in a season than Wilsons top year.

Russell Wilson is a running QB and he won a Super Bowl.

I’d be stoked if we got Winfrey in 2nd round.

Yes, Lynch and the Legion of Boom had nothing to do with it. Wilson has NEVER been a "run first QB” like Jackson or Hurts. He can read a defense, go thru progressions and make strong accurate throws to all parts of the field. You’re a poster child for the morning-after pill.

I was talking about the PBU. The INT wasn’t him, was his teammate Woods.

I get all that but since when is QB record vs other QB’s a true metric  to determine how good a QB is?  I’ve only ever really heard of it being used as a way to promote big games, rivalries between QB’s, etc.

If you go back 20 years, how often have you heard of someone saying, "This QB only won against these QB’s”?  (Other than rivalries, etc?)

It's not 100% true but usually a team with a good starting QB also has a competent defense. It's the competent defense - especially when they're telling one another "he can't read!"  that's Hurts' problem.

Pickett will be at pick # 4. Jets have already said they want to trade out of that pick and its the spot any team that wants him will go to to get him.

Its actually what I think will happen. Howie has loved Pickett for a while now. I can see him going all in. Not sure I agree but I just have a feeling.

Lmao D’eriq King, the future of the practice squad.

I’m sitting here watching the game with my wife and she knows more about football than you.

D'eriq King, a day 3 or udfa pick,  would bring more to the Eagles than Reid Sinnett.

King can return punts or kicks.  Sinnett cannot.

King was also the QB of Houston when current Eagles QB coach Brian Johnson was the OC and the QB coach.  Apparently King runs a 40 in the 4.4 something range.   He could be a QB3 who doesn't play QB much, but if there were injuries,  the Eagles wouldn't have to ditch the QB running and then lose.  Day 3 picks typically don't become stars, and I'm not saying that King would be a star.   But he brings more than the nothing that Sinnett brings.  And I think that Brian Johnson has a good chance of maximizing the value of D'eriq King, because when Brian Johnson was the Offensive Coordinator of the Houston Cougars,   he had King as a WR in the first part of the year and then moved him to QB for the last part of the year, and he did well at both.  I'm really just trying to identify fast QBs.  The combine and pro days will give the answers.

During the Senior Bowl,  they had a "fastest senior bowl players" graphic.

And Malik Willis was the fastest QB, and he was faster than all the running backs, too,  which is key.  Willis,  220 pounds,  faster than all the running backs,  not faster than about 7 light wide receivers,  I'll take that.  I believe they said that Willis ran 20.58 mph,  and that only Kyler Murray ran faster from the QB spot last year.

It's very possible, plus Howie has the relationship there with Douglas.

Your view doesnt matter cause you are troll who knows nada about football.

I'm a troll because I like the direction the Eagles have been going with Jalen Hurts?

I think you're using the word "troll" wrong.   Go back to grade school and start over.

Lol the 40 is the least relevant QB measurable I can think of. You should go be a Ravens fan.
