Getting Gannon resolution is great news. At least the scouts now what to look for for his scheme.

I'm curious what his requirements are for LB.

Not sure why ppl refuse to understand this. We are only pointing out major causes for concern in a QB. His supporters get mad and cry to defend him. We all watched the same games I hope 😅.

What did hurts do consistently as a QB/passer that gives anyone realistic projection of him being a top 10 QB or carrying any team to the SB?

It really doesnt matter if the avg fan doesnt understand this.

The important thing is Howe does. He has made a lot of mistakes but it is very clear he is looking to replace Hurts in the near future cause he saw Hurts limitations and they are too much to overcome.

Also if the argument isn't his potential then I wouldn't care if he stays or goes next year. Honestly Idc who QB is until this team is built to win or compete in tough games. This has been a plague to the eagles for a long time. Glad we won a SB but it was a anomaly.

I'm not a racing fan but I am a car guy and with all of the changes to the cars this year I'm somewhat interested in trying to watch a race or two.  This race at the Collesium is interesting for sure.

There it is.

Don't mind Gannon coming back. Won't be nearly as many excuses next year. He'll at least get more athletic safeties and a couple additions at pass rusher to work with. Probably better LBs too, but you can't count on that with this team.

The Texans are really going to hire McCown after all the Flores stuff this off-season? Yikes.

If the Pro Bowl insists on being two hand touch, at least below the waste.

They’re going to hire McCown BECAUSE of all the Flores snitching.

The Saints were going to to take Jefferson or Reagor if they were there too.

Howie missed on the pick, but the idea that Reagor was some 3rd round prospect is revisionist history.

2nd round, not 3rd. DJ had him as the 56th best prospect, he's one of the better evaluators out there.

I hope after all this wait the Texans just announce Nick Caserio will be the head coach.

That was the low end of projections, though. The NFL.com website (which is also pretty good) had him 1-2 Round prospect.

I may be  unreasonable with this stance but over the years I have decided to not blame any defensive coordinator who comes here. Not until FO starts drafting and developing good players on defense. Maybe 2-4 guys at most can be top 15 at their respective position every season.  Is that too much to ask for..

There is no building without a QB. You’re working off a false premise. We all know Hurts has proven to not be "the guy” in both college and the NFL.

Not only is he not physically gifted enough… during the TB playoff game the other team was screaming, "HE CAN’T READ A DEFENSE!” They we’re both extremely happy and in disbelief.

What do you mean there is no building without a QB?  What an absurd statement.

They have pretty much rebuilt the offense with a number of young core players in place.  Now it's long overdue time to rebuild the defense and having three first round picks in a defense heavy draft is perfect.  QB has nothing to do with rebuilding a team's defense.

In the meantime, in his first year as a starting QB in a new offense and for a new coach for the 4th straight season of football playing life he showed he is at least competent enough to get what will hopefully be a less talented team in 2021 compared to 2022.  And he is a developing QB of very low cost.  There is no downside to seeing how big of a leap Hurts will make in year three while focusing on other areas of need on the team.

People in this blog wildly acting like we are some fully built contending team that is a QB away.

Denial.  It never happened.  Or, that's not what the DC was referring to.

It is both very telling and embarrassing that the opposing DC was pointing out to his D players (and in an excited manner) that the QB can't read their D and figure out what to do.  His reaction was genuine as was his enthusiasm in alerting his players to it.

All any DC has to do to make Hurts perform poorly:

1-Stack the box with 8 defenders within 5 yards of the LoS to neutralize the running game.

2-Shut off Hurts' running lanes so he can't get outside the pocket.

3-Roll coverage to Hurts' right side and try to force him to throw to his left.

It really is just that easy.

I turned out the pro bowl for less than 10 minutes.  More unwatchable than the NBA all star game and that is a real low bar. Ugh
