Read an article on a nerve signal transmitter/amplifier that has allowed spinal injury paralyzed people to walk again.  One of the most significant injuries we would deal with in my area were spinal injuries.  The impact on peoples lives is tremendous.  I believe that spinal injuries will be cured in my lifetime and I am in my mid sixties. I believe that with stem cell research, we are on the cusp of being able to grow and basically regenerate areas of nerve damage.  Once we get to that stage, we may well be on the cusp of creating from a patients own cells, organs and limbs.  I wonder if we may even be able to do this with brain cells for stroke, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson and CTE sufferers.  Might we get to the stage where when an athlete suffers an ACL tear, they repair it with a grown replica rather than replacing it using other tendons.  Think of what that might do for football players.  I will be the first to admit my limited knowledge in this area but the break throughs are stunning.  Now, affordability may be an issue.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but interesting read...

I stopped at "Mike Florio explaining" .....

Were they sneaking an equipment guy into a hidden location to doctor the football after the referee had approved them?  Yeah, I thought so.

Were they doing this as a regular practice for 10-12 years as outlined in the Wells Report?  Yeah, I thought so.

The only thing bogus was Brady not receiving a full-season suspension for cheating in a Conference Championship game.

I'd sign up to be a test subject. Had T11-L2 burst fractures that required fusion, limited mobility in my right foot/leg from nerve damage that docs say is likely permanent. I'd love a chance to run and play sports again...hell I'd be happy just to walk normal again!

Why do you think he's a d ck head?  What has he done to make you think that?

Maybe he thinks not shaking hands with Foles? That's about all I can think of.

He took my mother out to a nice seafood dinner and then never called her again

One flaw in the defense offered by Florio.  Brady liked the less inflated balls.  So the fact that the team was aware of which balls seemed less inflated could well have allowed the equipment manager to select the balls preferred by Brady.  Florio sucks as an investigator.  Throwing Troy Vincent under the bus based on one source is shoddy journalism.

The stimulator isn’t at that level just yet but the inroads in advancement are making great strides.

He also ditched Bridget Moynahan as soon as he found out he'd gotten her pregnant, at the same time he was cheating on her with his current wife.  But yeah .... other than being a sperm donor and cheating scumbag he's a prince of a guy.

The Kurt Warner movie looks absolutely horrible.  The football scenes look so low budget and bad.

I do like King of Queens but Kevin James has one role and one role only.

I thought "Here Comes the Boom was a good story and somewhat funny

Sometimes I think people forget this. You don't just get tp pick whoever you want

I wonder if they will investigate why my tire pressure light comes on when we have a big drop in temperature?

I know it was commonly talked about how this was normal for PSI to change depending on temperature, but why would the league push this narrative to put their best player in a bad position? Brady destroying his phone and refusing to turn it over to NFL investigators isn't a good look, but if the NFL was acting in bad faith I'd probably do the same.

F Brady

Funny, I was recently arguing in here with somebody about how Deflategate was a bunch of nonsense. But too many people just want to jump at Brady and call him a cheater, without using any logic.

Because he hurt my feelings is all the evidence I need.

He was the only one who actually had seafood that night, but evidently didn't want seconds. My condolences.

I like how after Brady retires, all these years after deflategate suddenly now they wanna to back and try to prove it wasnt true.

Obviously it was. Obviously this is a move to further improve his image in preparation for his future HOF enshrinement. Of course theyll want to clean all of his stuff up so none of that is hanging over his head at that time.

It always will be though.

This means either they extend Cousins or incur a 45M cap hit in 2022. They are currently 15M over the cap, but can relatively easily get under.

Condoning cheaters is enabling cheaters.  Enabling cheaters just results in more cheating.  See MLB.

Just disgusting that anyone associated with the NFL would be actively campaigning to rewrite history.  If Florio didn't own the toilet-paper website he spews from, he would be fired.  Network TV should ban his b.s. PFT nonsense.

It was a bunch of nonsense about nothing

Interestingly, during the first half, when the Patriots were reportedly using the deflated footballs, quarterback Tom Brady completed 11 of 21 passes for 95 yards, one touchdown and one interception, as New England scored 17 points.

In the second half, Brady completed 12 of 14 passes for 131 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions, as New England scored 28 points.

I'm happy for Doug Pederson.  He seems to be getting a good reception from the team in Jacksonville.

Same here, I honestly wish him luck. He‘s a nice guy but I wonder how successful he‘ll be there.

Watson will be drafted in the 3rd round, earliest.

After the senior bowl his stock is rising. If he has a good combine he can get to round 1 status. Especially if he runs a low 4.4 as expected. A 6’5 guy with that speed is eye catching.

So the F what???   That's not the point.  No one is arguing he's capable of throwing TDs and compiling yardage.  He doctored footballs to gain a competitive advantage, whether he needed to or not.  They beat the Ravens by 3 points the previous week at home --  could doctoring the footballs have given them a 3-point advantage?  You F'ing bet it could.

That's why they did it.  They illegally videotaped the Bengals and forfeited a draft pick because of it -- the winless Bengals.

Do they need to do it?  Nope.  Why do they do it?  Because they're cheaters who don't give an ish about rules everyone else abides by.

Brady will always be a cheating scumbag.  If you want to cheer his accomplishments, go ahead.  To those that value people who succeed the right way, it's good riddance to him.

Never ceases to amaze me how much money the man makes. He must have the best agents in the league.

Love how the Texans are going year by year with these head coach hires. So ahead of the curve. 🤣

People still hating on Tom Brady after all he’s accomplished is just sour grapes. After all those cheating scandals here’s the thing he still won after the fact. Now if he would have not won after he was "cheating” then I’d say you have a point but he’s won like what 3-4 Super Bowls after that? Come on guys.

I know at least 1 QB who needs to hear this.

Not only was it an advantage to a QB throwing the ball but also ball carriers.

Isn't coincidence that the years before deflate gate the pats with Brady had the lowest amount of fumbles in the league.

One could chalk that up to good coaching and good execution.

Or one could also surmise that deflated footballs decreased the probability of fumbles as it's easier to hold onto a ball with less psi.

Either way the smoking gun for me is Brady destroying his cell phone, innocent people don't destroy potential evidence.
