People still hating on Tom Brady after all he’s accomplished is just sour grapes. After all those cheating scandals here’s the thing he still won after the fact. Now if he would have not won after he was "cheating” then I’d say you have a point but he’s won like what 3-4 Super Bowls after that? Come on guys.

If Barry Bonds quit taking steroids and hit 30 home runs the season after, would you say "All good" to him as well?

If Brady admitted he deliberately cheated and was sincerely apologetic, then that would say something positive about his integrity.  Neither you or I should expect that to ever happen.

Hey I was kinda looking foward to Hurts swaggy workout videos showing his improvement that never translates to the field.

Both can be true. He is a good, successful QB and a cheating d-bag.

Not only was it an advantage to a QB throwing the ball but also ball carriers.

Isn't coincidence that the years before deflate gate the pats with Brady had the lowest amount of fumbles in the league.

One could chalk that up to good coaching and good execution.

Or one could also surmise that deflated footballs decreased the probability of fumbles as it's easier to hold onto a ball with less psi.

Either way the smoking gun for me is Brady destroying his cell phone, innocent people don't destroy potential evidence.

His cell phone was such a red herring that people latched onto. He probably had tons of nudes of his hot wife on there that he didn't want people to see. Hell, I'm a nobody with nothing to hide and I wouldn't want to hand my cell phone over to anybody either. So ridiculous.

I think TE is an overrated need.  Especially one that high.

I love the idea of Trey McBride to compliment  Goedert. He would bring a new dimension to this offense which needs more. But I totally get not going that route. This team has so many needs you can't address them all in rounds 1 & 2

Or calls with the deflator...

This. And I really don't get worked up over deflategate too much. Spygate clearly gave Brady and the Pats an advantage for the 1st 3 Super Bowls. After that, Brady went 3-3 in Super Bowls for the Patriots. But the completely underreported story, IMO, is how they got around the salary cap by paying his company. It allowed him to "take less," which meant they could build up the team around him.

When people declare Brady is the GOAT, I say that unfortunately he disqualified himself from the conversation since we don't know what we would have been as a legitimate actor. The comparison to Bonds is apt -- clearly Bonds was a hall of fame, generational player without steroids, just like Brady. But where would he rank without them -- we don't know.

For the record, he and Bonds should both be in the hall of fame for their respective sports.

Big difference between a guy taking some air out of a ball and another dude injecting HGH.

Who knows what would have happened with Bonds? It’s an argument of silence. Maybe he still hits those HRs maybe he doesn’t but the fact is Brady won with supposed "cheating” and without any type of Cheating as well.

Never heard that story about them paying Brady through his company, I guess it was under reported.

Sounds about on PAR with the cheatriots though.

The MLB hall of fame is a sham without Rose and Maris in it anyway; go ahead and put anybody and everybody in  🙂

A bit of a silver lining to the QB class not being top end is that if there is a guy we like, we can grab him without a Carson wentz level of commitment.

with how many ways it can go wrong, I don’t like putting so many eggs into any one basket, especially at the QB position

I don't follow baseball much but how the heck is Roger Maris not in the HOF???

I had no idea.😳

Lol I actually remember this. It wasn't any secret, there were articles and I believe it was mentioned during one of his games. Anyway..

Kraft is an oily, filthy scumbag as well.

There was a documentary on the "Two Bill's" featuring Belichick and Parcells.  When Parcells left the Patriots for the Jets, Kraft whined loud and hard to the NFL.  When the league allowed the move the documentary quoted Kraft saying something like "Right then and there I knew the league was not interested in doing things above board"

Kraft's solution?  Cheat for the next 20 years, by whatever means necessary.  Kraft is a huge problem with the NFL -- it'll be a happy day when he's gone.

Rose, obviously should be in.  But you can't put someone in because of one great season.  If not for 1961, Maris is an average journeymen.

To be fair, Maris won the MVP in 1960 as well.

Still not a hall of famer, but he had more than one great year.

Yup.

Kraft and goodell probably give each other rub and tugs.

Nice call.  Didn't know that.

Prior to Bonds, I think he and Dale Murphy were the only back to back MVPs not to make the HOF.

Nice cutting of the quote there ESPN.

"Focus on getting better,” Burrow said. "Don’t have a workout and post it on Instagram the next day and then go sit on your butt the next day and everyone thinks you’re working hard but you’re not. Work in silence. Don’t show anyone what you’re doing. Let your performance on Friday nights and Saturday nights and Sunday nights show all the hard work you put in. Don’t worry about all that social media stuff.”
