Should it be?   What does it say to you?

Because QBs have a 40% success rate, the Eagles should draft 3 QBs in the first round.

Pickett Corral Ridder. Winner starts. Other two go to the PS to keep the factory running.

You got a great WR a great Tight end, drafted running backs who catch the ball out of the backfield and we're made to be a running team.

We're good on pass catchers

IDK - Reagor was thrown at alot this year... I think we can use a WR.  Maybe a mid-to-low level FA, maybe a premium draft pick - but given the prevalence of 11 personnel it's a near starting level position.

I'm very anti-Linderbaum. I'm not drafting a sub 300lb C in RD1. Picking a S/TE/C/LB in RD1 requires near perfect measurables for me due to positional value.

I'm liking Zion Johnson more and more. Can play RG this season then shift to C once Kelce decides he's walking off into the sunset.

Always liked him as a player.

Yea, he was a great ST player and from what I recall always played respectable when he started.  Good for him.

He was targted 57 times. Thats 3 times a game. No way in hell do I want to spend a 1st, 2nd,  3rd, or even a decent Free agent whos going to get 3 looks a game

Hard to target a guy who can't run a proper route. Also speaks a bit to Hurt's limited ability to process beyond the first option or 2.

I'm sure that plays into it as well.  The lesson here is that even if you select a QB (or just about any other position) in the 1st round, there's still only a 50% chance (at best) of them being "successful" in the NFL.  Some fans tend to lose their minds over 1st/2nd round pick busts (And tend to keep complaining about the picks for years)  as if they are uncommon but the reality is that they are more common than success stories.

You mean the Bengals using the #9 pick on Ross at WR v the Eagles using #21 on Reagor?

Seems the Bengals managed to recover from that mistake.

I don’t get Baltimore firing Wink. Dude had no secondary last year, lost their best pass rushers in free agency and they still were serviceable on defense. The other years they had everyone they were top 5. Hate to see him in New York.

This is the frustrating part of Hurts having the slowest time-to-throw in the NFL, both in 2020 during his starts and the full 2021 season.  Slowest of all qualifying QBs.  You can have WRs running the most precise of routes, but when the QB can't deliver the football on schedule it's a tough deficiency to overcome.

That results in a 78% chance of at least one success.

Better than current odds on Hurts.

Especially if one were to use a Bayesian approach.

Gints are missing two things no Josh Allen and no oline.  Bring it

LOL!  And still have 5 first round picks next year.   Move out of the way, Howie!

And YES, I know the trade calculations are stupid in these mock generators.

They have picks 5, 7 all the rest of their own draft picks which are high in each round and a new GM making the picks. Not a bad start to fixing that o-line and adding to the defense. I'd take their GM, head coach and d-coordinator over ours right now, unfortunately.

The Athletics Dane Brugler mock draft, this would be a good start fixing issues

5. New York Giants — Evan Neal, OT, Alabama

7. New York Giants (from Chicago) — Kyle Hamilton, DS, Notre Dame

Yeah they have some nice options at 5 and 7 that's for sure.

Sucks, but we can have a good haul ourselves.

Rob Ryan, the herpes of the NFCE

Off to play MLB?

Murray would be foolish to go back to baseball now, IMO.

We can, I'm nervous though because our FO seems to mess up more often than not. No more Cunningham and Brown either, the latter actually going to the Giants.
