Hell Hardin isn't even worth the draft picks anymore

Wait until he has Embiid to play off of.  And he is a true finisher, plus great FT shooter.  Embiid must be going nuts right now.  Harden and Maxey is a pretty dynamic back court.  Gonna be fun.  Plus now they can start Thybulle and his lack of scoring won't be so glaring.

Hopefully Embiid signed off on the trade because he will probably see the ball alot less.

He signed off.  Not a question.

I say this as a Raptors fan, but F Ben Simmons. Mental health is serious and he used that as a way to get out of playing games. That is not what Lane Johnson, Calvin Ridley, etc. went through. I hope the Nets fail.

It all rests on KD now.  He has to be amazing.  But when they are on the road it will be Ben at point, Kyrie at 2, KD at 3.  At home...

For all the old heads, this meme originated from someone posting this picture with the caption "I stopped by one of my biggest haters funeral today 🙏 just to make sure that (guy) was dead"

Ugh... I'll always love Doug for 2017 and I hope he's successful with the Jags, but the Eagles made the right decision letting him go.

Just think how many young offensive minds out there would wanna work with Trevor Lawrence. And Doug went with Press Fing Taylor.

Mike McCoy too. Lawrence is going to be ruined

We may get an indication of how much of a problem or help Howie has been.

With Curry gone I dont think so.

I'm not a bball guy but my buddy was telling me that it's basically gonna be a 2 man game. He and Harden. Harden's a basically a lock for 10+ assists and 10+ missed(rebounds).  and now that the other team REALLY has to cover someone outside, Embiid should love this

Harden is fun to watch when he actually plays but the guy hasn't won sh t.

I'm fully expecting the Bucks to come out of the east.

Hate it hate it hate it.

Looks like Doug needed to be micromanaged.

So I haven't really followed the NBA this year.  I usually start watching around playoff time.  But has Simmons played at all this year?

That seems like not much to give up to get Harden.

Dougs staff sucks

I mean I think Doug knows what he is doing but Taylor as an OC and McCoy as the QB coach doesn't seem great

It’s a lot

They kept Maxey and Thybulle and the picks mean nothing in the NBA unless it’s a top 5.

I think of it as two separate trades:

Trade 1 -- Sixers get Harden

-- Nets get Drummond, Curry, 1st round pick

Trade 2 -- Nets get Simmons, 1st round pick

-- Sixers get .... rid of Simmons

Simmons is a good defender, and considering defense takes effort, it’s odd to be as good as he is considering he refuses to put any effort into his offensive game.
Hardens defense, lol, half of us on this message board could play better than he does.
