Pretty sure 7 of those TDs are against the Giants.  Not taking those TDs away from him but his stats are overrated.  They absolutely can risk losing him because they can upgrade from him.

2. I hope the Eagles understand how valuable Boston Scott is. The guy's a touchdown machine. He’s got 14 career rushing touchdowns on just 235 carries. Only two players in NFL history have more rushing TDs on fewer than 250 carries – Hank Bauer of the Chargers in the 1970s and 1980s and John Kuhn of the Packers and Saints from 2008 through 2016. Scott is a restricted free agent, but the Eagles can’t mess around here. They need to tender him or better yet sign him to a long-term deal. They can’t risk losing him.

Right?   Let's just keep getting locked in to average players.

Scott was the 4th RB option for much of this year.  4th... behind Sanders, behind Gainwell, behind Howard.   But, now they need to lock him up?  Nah.  Let him test the market.  This team needs to upgrade the RB position anyway.

I have nothing against Boston Scott and don’t mind if he returns…but that’s just a laughable paragraph from a reporter that, lately, has been consistently providing the most laughable takes in the city.

I’m more appalled at the "need to tender him.” If you want to bring him back on vet min fine. But they don’t need to hand him $2.3M when there were stretches he didn’t even play when healthy

Roob the man of the stat without context and ignorer of stats that hurts his argument with the blocking of you afterward.

Agreed on that as well.   No tender, let him test the market.  I don't think he gets much.

All I know is Alex Henery is one of the greatest kickers in Eagles history

Northern lights are on my bucket list too.  Daughter and I spent a week in Iceland in December trying to see them to no avail.  My daughter snorkeled the divide between the America plate and European plate in a lake there. (I was unqualified due to my age and weight.). But I can say that I have driven from America to Europe because I drove the car on our tour of Iceland.  Friendliest foreign country I have been to, so far

Some family did a cruise around Norway recently and got to see the Northern Lights on a number of occasions.  They said how fleeting they could be, but how spectacular they were too.  But worth the cruise nonetheless

I like him and always thought he provided a spark when needed. But locking him up, not so sure. There's a couple smaller RB's in the draft which Howie seems to always have to try and draft. If he insists upon another undersized guy to replace Scott. McCormick, Ealy, Badie seem like quality options. Any way we can steal D'Ernest Johnson from the Browns? There's quite a few backs in the draft I like as well. Not sure what Sanders future is here. The injuries, fumbling and regression in the passing game is depressing.

This made me laugh Dallas still living in the past

Only 3 teams have fewer playoff wins than Dallas since 2000.  Washingteam, Miami and Cleveland, each with 1.   Dallas has 3 - tied with Chicago, Jacksonville, Cincinnati, and Buffalo.   Cincinnati could pass them tomorrow.

Nothing 'top' about that organization.

I really want to hike the Lofoten in Norway.  It’s atop my travel to-do list.  I want to do one of those Norway cruises too.

I’d pass on that. He just turned 31 and we have another year. 33 year old CB’s would be a bad idea imo

He doesn’t get enough credit for the work he puts into the WR’s during practice and TC, Slay helps them with routes, teaches them how to beat press coverage, and he coaches the other DB’s as hard as Denmard Wilson.
As you said though, he’ll be 33 when the Eagles should be ready to compete in the playoffs, that’s too old for a corner unless he has TO’s genetics.   This draft has a lot of good DB’s, it’s up to Howie to draft at least one starter, if not two.

Since 2000 playoff wins:

Nick Foles— 4
Brad Johnson—3
Jimmy G— 4
Jake Delhomme— 5
Rich Gannon—4

Cowboys— 3

You aren’t kidding, he did the Hurts/Jackson comparisons that were floating around social media, unfortunately when that comp didn’t fit his narrative, like the fact Jackson passed for 36 touchdowns in his 2nd year it wasn’t longer a valid comp in his eyes, blocked I was.

I got blocked too for asking about hurts stats look like without garbage time vs. playoff teams. Had a bunch of likes before he blocked me

So I'm sure this has been discussed but what does a Slay extension look like and how would it impact our cap number?  I've seen it mentioned as a means of giving us some cap space this year but I don't know the specifics.

Article I posted here had it as a 3 year deal to free up like 12 million.

Id do it. I know hes over 30 but he played at such an elite level this year I dont think 3 years is that bad. Its a short enough deal to be worth the savings.

Yes I’d do it too. Also we need to extend Hargrave and it will save 9 million. That would give us 42 million.

I also feels like Kelce knows something. He made his decision quickly.

Go get Wilson, sign a top FA WR, Williams, and a 2nd CB. Then rebuild the dline/LB with the draft.

The Eagles could actually be SB contenders in the NFC next year. Especially if Rodgers goes to the AFC.

F it, do it. But they better be players for some legit talent this FA period. 3rd tier guys are not getting it done.

As mentioned they could get to about 42 million in cap space. Thats plenty to go get a couple top guys.
