Lol I hate to break it to you man but millennials are older than you think. Some are looking down 40 now. 

The oldest millennials were born in the early 80s, meaning 90s-00s was the music they grew up listening to as kids. I'm sure it has plenty of cross over appeal but I'd argue the music of your childhood has a special appeal.
