First question is easy, as much as I like Foles, he's never finished a season... not even once.  So, even if they did win that many games with Foles as the starter, would he have been there to finish it?  

Second question is irrelevant.  No one is diminishing what Foles did during the Super Bowl, or the NFC CG.  He was great, hard to imagine any QB playing better in those two games.  The games leading up to those?  Yeah, they weren't nearly as magical.  Just getting past Atlanta took two near miracle plays, one at the end of each half. 

The Bungles are going to F this kid's career up.

As good as Chase is, Slater/Sewell should have been the pick.

Heck, they could have traded back, drafted Slater and picked up another pick for another O-Lineman.

With the potential knee injury to Burrow, the asking price for Dillard just went up.   Dillard for Higgins and their 4th.

Eagles have three Guards in Driscoll/Isaac/Herbig that are better than anything Cincy has.

We should look to package one of them with Dillard.

In terms of compensation, I think Howie would prefer 2023 picks.

Interesting to compare how DJack and OBJ acted this season.  Hate OBJ but he forced his way out to get to a winner.  DJack forced his way out to get more catches.  Wonder if he even cares that he lost out on a ring.

Foles is awesome for what he did, but consistency, (and health) has always been an issue with him. 

I believe Foles could have won that SB starting all year.

But I admit my take here is a bad one. It happened the way it happened and to take away from Wentz on a belief is wrong.

Slater/Sewell probably doesn't get them to the Super Bowl this year. Chase was the absolute right pick, ridiculous to assert otherwise.

They can build up their o-line this year, they have tons of resources.

It's definitely one way to go about it, it's proven. But there's more than one way to skin the cat I think. It's funny because both teams took different paths to get there. Bengals by mostly draft picks, Rams by trading draft picks. The Bengals could've won that so it kinda shows, there's many ways to get there. But you need talent, a lot of it. Coaching too, using your back up RB on 3rd & 1 with your game on the line  is inexcusable. 
We're certainly not close to that  level of talent on the field unfortunately. 

Bengals will be fine , and a contender for awhile 

rams , even if Stafford has 3 years or more in him , the rest of the team doesn’t , rams are the definition of  , all in .

As for the Super Bowl, my bug bear about officiating in sport. Consistency.  Don't change what you call part way through the game; I can see why Bengals thought it was rigged as there all sorts of missed calls on that last drive.

But, I don't think either HCs play calling was great - McVay turtled again and Taylor ignored motion, etc.  The coaching tree of fraidy cats.  For all Doug's issues, his and the staffs play calling against the Pats was leagues ahead of either of them.

They drafted Jackson Carman right after Chase; the problem is he didn’t have a good season.  Apparently he played OG though against the Chiefs.  Not sure why they didn’t try him out there yesterday
