Nice try, but the Bengals were headed in the other direction in the fourth quarter.

The shot they use is from a first quarter play.

4th & 1 at LAR 49  (10:00 - 1st) (Shotgun) J.Burrow pass incomplete short right to J.Chase (E.Jones)

This is the actual play.

Nice try? They aren't my tweets. Though I'd take a video over a picture with an arrow

No you.  The tweeters.

Look at the photo.  The ball has already been snapped.

But the main point is that the photo in the tweets is a totally different play.

The penalty that’s worse is the false start by both tackles on the Wilson holding call on kupp. You could see that from the TV that both of those guys jump before the ball was snap. The worse missed penalty was probably the Higgins penalty. I read what the official said yesterday about it not being a penalty but strongly disagree with it. I think they were just trying to cover one of their officials behind

They were heading in the opposite direction of the one that they are talking about.

The time stamp is all around 6:45 so I think they (the tweeters) are talking about the correct 4th and 1 (the first drive) but everyone is thinking they are talking about the other 4th and 1 (the end of the game).

Someone yesterday proposed a trade-back with CIN in the 1st round that makes a lot of sense to me.  The Bengals are surely motivated to move up in the 1st round to upgrade their OL.  Dillard might not make a lot of sense for them because they already have Jonah Williams at LT, and Jackson Carman who was drafted in the 2nd round last year has played LT.  Trading up to #19 in exchange for picks #31 and 63 would put them in better position to get a plug-and-play OG to help Burrow in 2022 on Week 1.

From an Eagles standpoint this proposed trade would leave them with picks 15, 16, 31, 51, and 63 in the first two rounds.  Depending how Carson Strong's medicals come out and his agility drills at the Combine I would be on board with drafting Strong at #31.  You get the 5th year option on him as a 1st round pick, and you still have 4 other picks in the first two rounds to build on defense.  Most of Sirianni's experience working with a QB is with Philip Rivers, who was a stationary pocket passer.

If you don't like Strong, perhaps pick 51 or 63 could be used on Desmond Ridder under the same scenario -- minus the 5th year option.

Rams 4 best players… in no particular order

DT

WR

QB

Edge rusher

Those of you saying we need to go safety, LB, or G early I think are missing the mark.

  1. Trade two firsts for Wilson.
  2. Sign Marcus Williams.
  3. Draft an Edge on Day 1.
  4. Address LB on Day 2.
  5. Do something about WR2, I'm just not sure yet.

We mostly agree unless you need to block for your QB. In a pass happy league OL should be a high priority. Sure, if an amazing DT is taking there they should grab him. I'd rather they draft the best person sitting there than reach for a certain position though.

It's OK, he gets a pass.  After all....he is the greatest defensive player of all time 🤭

Hell no.

Big shock.  Refs were told to let LA win.  They weren't going to call anything on the Rams unless it was flagrant.

So maybe we shouldn't worry about getting a franchise QB.  We just need to get into the Ref's pockets so they make the calls for the Eagles.

Don't forget that loud mouth idiot at CB.  He's a better player than any of the Rams edge rushers.

He might be annoying but he's still very good.

There could be an argument made that Jalen Ramsey is a better player than Von Miller at this point in their career. But there’s no debate in which player was more impactful on Sunday.

Also - the Bengals OLine is average, maybe below average. But where do they excell? QB, WR, DL…

If I'm full-blown conspiracy theorist, this has more to do with the NFL trying to make LA happen.  For YEARS the NFL has been trying to make LA happen.  They've got a huge stadium, 2 teams, but seem to be pretty meh about the Rams. The 9ers came to town and dominated that stadium.  How better to win over new LA fans than to give them a superbowl victory?  And the victim?  The poor, hapless Bengals.  A great underdog story, but like most underdog stories it falls short.

Yeah, it was the Refs fault after the missed call on the first play of the second half on the Higgins TD, that the Bengals ran 31 more plays for 61 yards.

But that's just the thing.  The whole game they are letting these guys play.  They wait until the last 2 minutes to call a bunch of ticky tack type of penalties.  What gives?  They should have shoved their flags in their pockets and let these teams go.

Donald. He was the true MVP, not Kupp.

Bengals should have done more than 31 plays for 61 yards after they took the lead.  Keep scoring and take the refs out of it.  And if the refs did their job, Bengals would not have taken the lead on the first play of the second half, and we would not even be having this discussion.

Yeah, they missed a few DPI on the Rams the first half so I don't care they let the TD go to start the second.

2 first for Wilson maybe if they can be split  but I still don’t want him

I'm not pushing for a corner or a WR for that matter. We probably won't agree on one of my biggest hopes that Linderbaum falls to them at 15. DL and OL would make me very happy at 15/16 and take the best player at 19 or trade back. Many won't agree after the Senior Bowl, but I still think Strong will be a good QB if they do move out of the spot.

That was the cost for Stafford last season.  Wilson is younger by 9 months and has been the better QB.

I’m not too worried about OL. Lane is the only starter who was a 1st round pick.

Dickerson - 2nd

Seumalo - 3rd

Kelce - 6th

Mailata - 7th.

This is an OL that’s widely considered a top 3 OL in the league.
