#16 + 2023 1st for Wilson? Take that all day.

Heck throw in whichever one of Hurts/Minshew they want while you're at it.

That was the cost for Stafford last season.  Wilson is younger by 9 months and has been the better QB.

The picks are better than what LAR gave up.  Detroit got 2022 and 2023 firsts.  Those were a next-year and a next-next-year pick.  Our two firsts would be a this-year and a this-year.  Much more valuable.

What would have to be offset is the value of Goff.  I'd argue that the better picks plus Hurts would do that.

Donald. He was the true MVP, not Kupp.

As it stands right now if Kelce returns next season, would Seumalo move over and start at RG?

2 first for Wilson maybe if they can be split  but I still don’t want him

I am not sure why he wouldn't be top target in terms of a trade. He's a top 5 to 10 QB that doesn't have any baggage.  He would make the team immediately better.  He puts them in position to win the NFC East and be a legitimate contender.  2 firsts this year doesn't prevent the team from adding needed talent to improve.

I’m not too worried about OL. Lane is the only starter who was a 1st round pick.

Dickerson - 2nd

Seumalo - 3rd

Kelce - 6th

Mailata - 7th.

This is an OL that’s widely considered a top 3 OL in the league.

And the guys who've actually played, Driscoll 4th, Herbig, UDFA, Opeta, UDFA, Dillard 1st.

If both are healthy, absolutely yes.

Gotta be Hurts. It would be a tough sell to bring in a guy at QB like Wilson/Watson with Hurts still on the team as a backup.

I'm happy he got a ring but I don't think they got the ring because of him. There were a bunch of questionable throws by him IMO

If Wilison couldn't make the Seahawks a contender the last five years, what makes you think he can do so here, given all the holes on the current roster?

49-32, 10-6 average, 1-3 in the playoffs:  two WC losses, 1 Div loss, 2 PO misses. So we improve from 9-7 to 10-6.

Wilson isn't going to make this team into a legitimate SB contender.

The difference with the Rams is they were already a SB contender, Stafford was an incremental improvement.

The guy is fourth all-time in passer rating.

His rating before the injury last season was 125.

Just getting a guy who will make sure Smith get's fed is worth the picks.

Arguably Wilson is the better player as is Goff.  I agree with you but also I think the team would be better off trading 2 firsts this year vs. 1 this year and 1 next year.

Bengals should have done more than 31 plays for 61 yards after they took the lead.  Keep scoring and take the refs out of it.  And if the refs did their job, Bengals would not have taken the lead on the first play of the second half, and we would not even be having this discussion.

Oh no doubt.  Bengals offense was absolutely anemic other than the one big play to open the second half.  They absolutely should have put that game away.

I was talking about Stafford. I think you're talking about Wilson?

I trust Howie to completely fill the holes this offseason and make the team a contender with the addition of Wilson.

There are more holes on this team but I think the O-line is a top tier o-line.  The receivers would be above average with the addition of one decent FA.  The defense has holes but the d-line is OK. The secondary and LB need talent.  I think they can do this through the draft.

Dallas will lose players due to salary cap issues.  Their o-line is aging.   The Giants still have Daniel Jones.  Washington still needs a QB.  If the Eagles win the division, they have a decent chance at being the 1 or 2 seed.  Rodgers is leaving the Packers and likely the NFC.  Brady is retired.  The NFC South's best team may be Atlanta.  The Rams lack picks and will lose players due to salary cap and retirements.  SF has a question mark at QB.  The NFC is pretty wide open.

I mean, Howie is his boy, but he apparently does not trust him to fill the holes on the roster around a QB.

Trade sounds fair, and it’s cap neutral. Good job.

I wouldn’t have a problem with two firsts for Wilson. In essence it would be Wentz and a 1st, for Wilson and a third. Sounds fine by me.

The key with maintaining salary cap neutrality is the water.  You want to make sure the water isn't too akaline because that will raise the Ph of the Salary Cap in the trade.  Sometimes a 1/4 tsp of salt per gallon is necessary for salary cap neutrality.

He's better than Goff and that was enough.  Wilson is better than Stafford.

There could be an argument made that Jalen Ramsey is a better player than Von Miller at this point in their career. But there’s no debate in which player was more impactful on Sunday.

Also - the Bengals OLine is average, maybe below average. But where do they excell? QB, WR, DL…

But who had the bigger impact on Sunday? Miller or Ramsey?

On Sunday it was Miller but he was also going up against the Bengals biggest weakness (O-line).  Ramsey had to defend their biggest strength (WRs).  So I'd expect Miller to have a bigger impact in this game.

Imagine how much better Quez Watkins becomes with one of the best deep ball throwers we’ve ever seen.

He can compete with 1st round pick Kenyon Green for the RG starter spot. If Seumalo loses, he's the IOL swing guy. In my head, Seumalo can take over for Kelce next year and its:

Mailata-Dickerson-Seumalo-Green-Johnson
