I'd like to see Wilson's updated list.  Last season it was DAL, CHI, NO, and LV.  Turds gave Dak a mega deal, Bears spent two 1sts to draft Fields, and Saints will be in a full-on rebuild via contract shedding.  Raiders might be the only remaining possibility in a Wilson-for-Carr swap (with picks added in).

Raiders reportedly are working on an extension for Carr too.

4 -1sts for J.M.  that's my asking price. Oh and a nice dinner before I get screwed.

That would be preferred.

But we have three this year.  Wilson is better than Stafford and Goff is better than Hurts.

Just get the guy here.

To this we agree!  We would instantly have one of the best QB's in the NFC

Had an awesome Beef Brisket and Cheddar sandwhich last night with some decent fries,  does that count?

I can't believe how many people think Stafford is a HoF QB

Wilson’s options are likely going to come down to:

Bucs

eagles

Washington (that dysfunctional organization)

colts (don’t have the capital at the moment)

Steelers (already said wouldn’t spend multiple picks to get a veteran QB)

saints (would need to clear about $76 mil in over the cap to make it work first and an additional to fit wilson)

carolina

denver

browns (would have to deal Baker)

miami (owner says all in on tua. Who knows if he’s the owner for much longer— feels like dysfunction like Washington)

So I’d think he’d approve a trade to Bucs, colts, Steelers, eagles (based of Mott’s reporting), Denver and browns. Kind of think Steelers and colts out for other reasons.

Interesting; I figured without that dolt Gruden in the fold the Raiders might finally commit to Carr.  I think it's the right move.

Definitely need to see Russell Wilson's updated list then.  Eagles fans might be very disappointed if Philly isn't on it, but New York is.

He'll end up with a top 10 finish in every important stat. He had 1 year away from a dreadful organization and won a superbowl.

He probably had 3-5 good years left.

So ya, I can see the argument.

Except they are talking about right now. He has 1 Pro Bowl. No rookie awards. No first team All Pro's. No second team All Pro's.

Meanwhile Eli Manning is top 10 in all time yards, TD's, 4x Pro Bowl, 2 time SB MVP and 2 time SB winner and no one wants to put him in.

I'd be curious to see Parson's numbers if he was used correctly the entire year. As much praise as Quinn got this year, he didnt start off great with his use of Parsons

I think they used him as a pass rusher from the start of the year pretty much.  There was talk about using him that way in the offseason.  I think they used him more after Lawrence was injured. Lawrence was injured in the first game of the season He had 13 sacks as a rookie which is very good and had 45 QB pressures.  The number of pressures was 2nd in the League inasmuch as that is a stat.  I don't think he was a pass rusher in every possible opportunity.  I agree they could have used him more as a pass rusher than they did.

I love Stafford as much as anyone, but he doesn't have a HOF resume. Maybe if he had played the last 10 years with McVay and the Rams he would. If he continues to kill it for the next 3-5 years, maybe he'll build one.

I actually think a Carr to Philly trade is possible.  Not likely but possible.   With baby belichick in Vegas he may want another QB.

The more mock draft scenarios I see, the more I don't mind pulling the trigger on Jameson Williams.

Btw, what do the OL experts of the board think of Penning? Too tall for guard, I imagine?

He can play G. Same height as Dickerson.

I had always though McDaniels pulled out of Indy because he learned that Luck was on the fence about playing and could retire. McDaniels probably wanted nothing to do with a rebuild, so I would also think he would rather work with Carr. I much prefer the Eagles stay put with what they have now, try and trade down for some picks next year and go after a QB then. I don't really see Wilson, Carr, or Jimmy G moving the needle much here.

NO!

God no.  Want nothing to do with him.

Rank Hurts and WIlson as to their ability to play on a scale of Tebow to Brady.

There is an Aidan Hutchinson highlight in here

I can't help but come back to the Eagles being on 0 points in the 4th quarter of the playoff game until garbage time was officially declared, and our QB being 11-for-31 on all throws past the LOS.

Jimmy G would move the needle a little bit

Carr would move the needle a fair bit

Wilson would move the needle quite a lot

Jimmy G is terrible. He's moves no needle.

So many people in this thread have no basic comprehension of team building.  All just want the shiny object of a new QB.

One of those things is not like the other.

Would they have gotten a TD or something before garbage time? They still would lose that game 10/10 times. Losing the game in a different way still doesn't move the needle.

Regarding Wilson and his performance over the years. From 2012-2014 Wilson was 6-2 with a Super Bowl win and 2 Super Bowl appearances. From 2015-present, Wilson is 3-5 with his last playoff win being the 2019 game against the Eagles where Clowney took out Wentz. If you believe the Eagles would have won that game had Wentz not been taken out, Wilson's previous playoff win would have been from 2016 against the Lions. Yes, the Detroit Lions.

I think Wilson is way past his prime, and at this point in his career is not going to carry a team to the playoffs.

Jimmy G theory. McDaniels swears by Jimmy G and apparently has mentioned on and off the record he wants to work with him if he ended up as a head coach.

Jimmy G to the Raiders just adds a stick of dynamite to the already powder keg off season.

Not happening

I still think Eagles would prefer Watson, but don't fool yourself, all Wilson has to do is give Lowie the nod. They will move Heaven and Earth if needed to get him here.

OK, this made me laugh

Moving the needle is not contingent on dethroning the Super Bowl champions.  Not being competitive in the game was a continuation of a theme from playing strong teams in the first half of the season.

The Eagles were not competitive in any facet of that game -- offense, defense, special teams.  The defense is barren of talent and needs a significant influx through the draft and free agency, if possible.  Special teams had been a problem all season especially in the last two months when Siposs tailed off.  The offense runs through the QB.  Without a competent QB the other 10 pieces doesn't matter.  The other 10 pieces while still a work in progress is much further along than the defense .... except for the QB.

I would be highly surprised if the Eagles drafted a LB and S in round 1 of the draft.  One of those is a possibility, as every position is, but it's more likely that it will be a 2nd/3rd round pick. Fred Warner was a 3rd round pick, so was Logan Wilson, so value is there, but the Eagles have to identify it and commit to it. Not something they have been keen to do but perhaps seeing how pedestrian the D was at times, perhaps Howie learned a lesson.

DT could be the 1st round pick that we don't see coming.

Much better QB than Eli.  Similar to Big Ben.

If he gets some more post-season run at the end of his career, becomes much more likely.
