The Draft picks should be used to build the Defense and skill positions.   Mortgaging our future for an expensive QB's makes no sense at this point.   We have so many things to improve on defensively.   This team is Rebuilding and in year 1 they made the Playoffs.  Let's see what happens with some more upgrades.   We also need to hit FA for a  Vet WR.  I'm all for the young guys continuing to grow but we need a Vet in that WR room.

I hear ya.  I think this year needs to be heavily leaning defense though, so 'balance' is actually tilted towards offense, imo.  I can't argue against the picks you made on the offensive side rather than going defense there...  just an observation.

Pretty weak for $50k, if you ask me.  Players hit each other on the heads harder than that in celebration after scoring a TD or creating a turnover.

In most NFL Drafts, there are five to seven top-tier prospects who make up the "upper class” and will be the first players drafted. That is followed by 12-15 "middle class” players who might not be elite but received first-round grades from teams and project as solid NFL starters. The bad news is the 2022 NFL Draft is missing those "upper class” prospects — there is no Joe Burrow or Myles Garrett or Ja’Marr Chase this year. The good news is this year’s draft is well-stocked with "middle class” first-rounders — players with NFL starting traits who will make impacts as rookies.

Chase had 24 more targets, do you think with Hurts that 24 more targets would have amounted to 17 catches for 539 yards and 10 TD's ??  That is the difference between them, and it is caused by bad QB play.

There is a lot more at stake choosing a HC.  Not just scheme, but staffing building, game prep process, establishing a culture, connecting with players, communicating with the press, working with the FO and scouts.  Can he function as a leader and not just a football guy.
