Incorrect.

He went 11 of 27 for 174 yards, 2 TD's and 1 pick against a Rams team he has historically struggled against.

He has two playoff games with less yards.

He has three playoff games with a lower QB rating

He has three playoff games with more INT's including a 4 interception game.

You can nit pick all you want, but they got bounced 1st round and he had a terrible performance. I'll change it to one of his worse playoff performances and it still doesn't change anything.

I'd say the first round picks will likely be:

DE -- 90% likely, almost a mortal lock.  It's a philosophical staple and statistically a glaring weakness

CB -- 50/50 because the position is becoming a more premium commodity

DT -- 2/1 odds against.  Would love to draft Leal if he's on the board, though

S -- I'll put at 50/50 as well because it's quite possible both McLeod and Harris are gone

WR -- 2/3 chance it will happen.  It's still DeVonta Smith and tumbleweeds.  I think a FA signing will happen too

LB -- 3/1 odds against.  Not a huge fan of Nakobe Dean, and Lloyd might go just before #15

QB -- 2/1 odds against.  But I reserve the right to change that view after the Combine.  Don't rule out a trade-up into the top 5 for Pickett

OL -- 40% chance.  It's also a philosophical staple

I agree on DE and CB.  It's possible WR is in play but only if the team has multiple picks.  I don't see them picking a safety or LB.  I think OL is probably better than even at this point.  I also think QB is probably more like 50/50 absent a trade.

Where’s all of this Russell Wilson talk coming from?

The Number of the Beast (album) - Wikipedia

I mean talking about Wilson is better than talking about Hurts or Wentz.

If the Eagles had the same talent, would they have been able to beat the Bucs with Jimmy G? What about Carr or with Wilson?

From who?  Hurts?  😂🤡😂 You’re such a waste of space.  There is no way Hurts is a better QB than Hurts.

Absolute zero, I guess.

Done...

   Wentz -> Indy for a 3rd in '21 and a 1st in '22.

   #6 overall in '21(Waddle) and a 5th in '21 -> Miami for #12 overall in '21, a 1st in '22, and a 4th in '21

   #12 overall in '21 and a 3rd in '21 -> Dallas for #10 overall in '21 (Smith).

Now...

   1st in '22, a 1st in '22, and Hurts -> Seattle for Wilson.

Cancelling out, you get...

   Wentz, Hurts, and Waddle for Wilson and Smith

Thoughts?

It's really Micah Parsons, Chauncey Golston, Wentz, Hurts and Waddle for Wilson and Smith.

With Jimmy G, probably not but they have a chance with Carr or Wilson.

Speaking of Russell Wilson and page 666, he reminds me of a serial killer.  Everything is a little too calculated with him (his communication, his diet, his budget that he spends to take care of himself every year).  I wouldn't be surprised if he had a few people locked up in his basement.  That being said, I'd take him over Hurts if he had to throw left handed next season.

You know this place has lost its collective mind when multiple people are advocating for giving up assets to get a barely average starting NFL QB like Jimmy G :facepalm:

That was the cost for Stafford last season.  Wilson is younger by 9 months and has been the better QB.

So? Wilson isn't a pure pocket passer who's longevity can be extended. You don't give that up for someone on the down swing even if circumstances could have been a factor...until you know if they were the real factor or not.

I’m not too worried about OL. Lane is the only starter who was a 1st round pick.

Dickerson - 2nd

Seumalo - 3rd

Kelce - 6th

Mailata - 7th.

This is an OL that’s widely considered a top 3 OL in the league.

Yeah. Personal choice I guess. We aren't sure how much longer Kelce can be around and in the meantime they will get another good young G who can slide over to possibly the 2nd most important position on the team after QB.

Linderbaum/Mailata/Dickerson for the next 6+ years at least.

That's a really good point....maybe not the locked up people but the fact that everything with him seems to be calculated.  He's not authentic.  He's a puppet to whoever wants him to be one.  It was on full display at the Super Bowl.

May be an image of 1 person, playing football and text that says 'FUN FACT: No active QB has more Super Bowl rings than Jimmy G. 49ERS 10'

Howie will read this and tell the seamstress to get jersey #10 ready.  Niners might want Hurts to backup Lance

  1. Trade two firsts for Wilson.
  2. Sign Marcus Williams.
  3. Draft an Edge on Day 1.
  4. Address LB on Day 2.
  5. Do something about WR2, I'm just not sure yet.

Can you help me understand #1?   Seattle has only Eason signed as a QB this year.  That was their third string QB.  Why does Seattle trade Wilson, who they have under contract for two years?  Just doesn’t make sense.  If it is because Wilson wants out, why would Wilson waive his no trade clause for Philadelphia, which is devoid of talent not named Slay or Hargrave on defense?  Is it the Reagor attraction?  I mean I understand Wilson’s frustration with the lack of OL protection in Seattle but Philly with no defense and only Smith and Goedert And question marks at RG seems like a stretch.

We can send Seattle the swagiest QB to ever lace em up

For awhile I’ve been thinking that NFL needs to bite the bullet and get a D-league going to develop QBs… I’m convinced that they need to get the stripes up to speed as well, embarrassing misses from what supposedly was the best crew available. Sloppy.

Curious, who's actually suggesting we trade for Jimmy?

You. You said the name Jimmy so that means you are willing to move heaven and earth to get him here.

I guess people just make things up.

See related: Hurts progress.

Wilson is an effective pocket passer.  He has mobility but his ability to buy time in the pocket is like Rodgers. There’s no reason he can’t be very good over the next 5 seasons. He’s not reliant on his mobility to be effective.
