Jags will go .500 or better. I'm not judging any of these HC's, OCs,DCs until they're on a new team. Every hire outside of 2016-2017 deserves that. Considering control and bad decisions FO makes I'll continue waiting for the days of consistently good offense or defense. Tired of going into every season unknown.

I hope Doug and Lawrence do well. Would be great for Doug if he could turn that franchise around. Hiring Press Taylor as the OC just doesn't seem like a good idea

They should hold all summer Olympics in Athens. Winter, I'd nominate Vancouver as they have the facilities and mountains to support it. Have every participating country donate funding. It would stop the ridiculous bidding, it would stop the ridiculous infrastructure some of these places have to build only to never use again.

Kinda like Athens in 2004? They're still recovering.

Troll or serious? Jimmy G is Hurts but cant run and costs 10 times more. He is a scrub that will never ever win a super bowl.

Yes, and you forgot that Jimmy G is swaggier.

Ehh that is where you're wrong my friend. There was no decline, Wentz is playing his best football. 2017 and 2018 exceeded expectations.

It’s 2022. You might want to look up the definition of "decline.”

Jimmy G is a tier or 2 above Hurts as a passer. I don’t want him, but I would take him over Hurts next season.

I just believe this is the QB he always was. To decline in something requires being good consistently. Which he's never done imo.

Howie is pretty creative in this area.

Top 10 offense, top 10 Touchdowns, bottom 5 in INT's.

If you watched the Colts at all this year, Wentz wasnt the problem. I'm unsure why he's getting all the blame.

Probably easy scapegoat and the magnify the Jags game where everyone played like poop

Their Oline wasn't healthy

Plus Eagles fans just don't like him

The general manager and the owner disagree with you, which is all that really matters.

If the only thing holding you back is QB then I can understand the urgency of moving on.  Carson is not the only problem in Indy, and quite possibly not even the biggest problem.  Like you said, he's the scapegoat for losing to the Jags and missing the playoffs.

irsay's just mad that we made the Colts look silly with that trade.  They gave us a 1 and a 3 for our Wentz, somehow we made the playoffs and they didn't.

BTW, if the Colts release Carson, I think you'll have a few teams lining up for his services.  In no specific order: Washington, Carolina, Houston, Steelers, Broncos (maybe), Browns (maybe).  Sleeper would be the Vikings if they move on from Cousins.

They have not made any direct comments about Wentz, and I do not think they want to piss off their best player

When has there ever been a 3 way trade in the NFL? It's hard to imagine there's a player a team would want to trade that wouldn't be wanted by the team trading the QB.

I don't know if they have publicly said anything on it.  Clearly, they were unhappy but it's not like they have a clearly better option than Wentz at this point.

He went 17-29 with an INT and 6 sacks against the Jags. It was an awful performance.  You can couple that with a season where he led the team to no 4th quarter comebacks.

I was on the same anti-Fields train.

This years do not want

Devin Lloyd. No thanks, dont trust a small school pac 12 Linebacker. Sauce Gardner... again, small school.

Pickett is on my no touch list too

Both are going to wow at the combine and are consensus top-15 picks...deservedly so.

Uh....I seem to remember one occurring in 2004 or so....involving a certain WR

Don't know if he should get all the blame, but even with OL injuries (but we had as many), they had Taylor and Pittman, it wasn't like Wentz was alone out there.

He was terrible the last two games when they just needed a single win.

Perhaps there’s more to his departure than just one bad game?

The Eagles were part of a three-team deal last year with SF and Miami.

They were kind of in one where they did the trade up with Miami for Maxwell and Kiko and then eventually traded up to 2.

You could argue that the Colts had one of the worst WR/TE crews in the league

If only the Colts had Arcega-Whiteside as an H-back...

I would take

Goedert / Smith / Quez over Pittsman, Pascall and Mo Allie.

I'd also take the Eagles offensive line over the colts.

My post was a joke at Afan's expense. He made repeated claims that Arcega-Whiteside was going to transition to this H-back extraordinaire.

Eagles alone have had a few. Besides the ones already mentioned it’s how we got Ernie Simms.

Jeremiahs tweet doesn't read like a 3 way trade to me though. I think he's saying as an example "Eagles trade Cox to the Jets for a 1", the Eagles now have more ammo for a trade to get a QB.

That's more than I expected to show up.

Maybe that's why Lebron suggested having a joint parade to celebrate all 3 LA teams titles, even though the Lakers and Dodgers were 2 years ago.
