February 17, 20223 yr There are people on the ground checking on her, was Stafford supposed to jump off the stage to the ground 4-5ft and blow out a knee? Stafford did exactly what Pro Athletes are taught to do in a bad situation, remove yourself quickly, how does he know she wasn’t gonna say that Stafford pushed her off? As you can see, there are people helping her towards the end of the video.
February 17, 20223 yr Is Carson Strong as mobile as Philip Rivers, or Tom Brady, or Peyton Manning? Those guys turned out OK. He just has to be functionally mobile, meaning agile enough to avoid straight-on pressure. The medical evaluations will decide his draft fate. If his knee is given the green light medically he'll go in the top 2 rounds. If there are questions, then he'll be a late-round pick.

Up top, OL and DL prospects are excellent. Some DBs, some LBs, several safeties. 27 minutes ago, RLC said: To me, the most interesting thing in that pocket is that he heard Dickerson is going to replace Kelce at C. So expect G prospects, not C prospects in the mid-rounds. If so, Green becomes almost a certainty.

Not saying he wants to go to Philly, but some of these other places have way less to offer for his wife.

You chose 3 of the most mentally prepared and successful QBs ever as a comparison , why not 3 immobile QBs who were not good NFL QBs ? certainly nothing he has done in college resembles Brady , Manning and Rivers

And we'll go 11-6 and you'll put up 20 posts illustrating it was all due to luck and a weak schedule. 😁

If you put Dickerson at center, he can handle NTs one on one, so now you're more interested in OGs who can peel off double teams and hit targets on the second level. The advantage of Green is if Dickerson gets hurt, you don't have to change your blocking scheme as much if he moves to center.

The Browns are 32-32-1, in a tougher division they only had a bad Bengals team to deal with. The Eagles had the 29th team (Giants) and the 26th team (WFT). You have to go back to ‘84-87 to find an Eagles team go 4 straight years w/o double digit wins, 11-6 would be good for this mediocre bunch.

Interestingly, the list for Wilson that was thrown about last year at this time turned out to be correct, as confirmed by both Wilson and his agent. I agree, though -- if these lists are factual on these QBs it shows some of them are pretty short-sighted. The Bucs are on the way down and Arians will be gone in a year, PIT shouldn't hold much appeal other than stability. The sooner some of these are put to bed, the better. I've always been of the opinion Watson, Wilson and Rodgers are not coming. Put 100% of the energy into evaluating these draft-eligible QBs this year and find the correct prospect to fit Sirianni's scheme.

Who does he compare to... without doing any research I'm thinking he's a 3-4 SILB, but have no context about why he'd be special in the league? Bonnito, Mafe? Better than the Penn State kid, and have enough juice to differentiate themselves from Sanders, etc. to cause a run in the 1st rather than 2nd?

Green is really good, and if you are getting a Dickerson level player without the injury history that's pretty compelling - but overall I'm with you... going with Rhyan in the 2nd or trusting Stout to do his thing later is more my jam.

Mariota&draft pick to the Steelers Cousins traded to the Broncos Wents to Buccs, Matty Ice to Browns, Carr to the Colts My guess. Jimmy G to the Raiders / Carr to the Eagles/ Wentz to the Buccs. Watson to the Vikings. Cousins to the Broncos Russ/Rodgers/Matty Ice stays. Jimmy G is not going to the Raiders, was reported the other day the Raiders are about to offer Carr a massive extension. Carr is not going to the Eagles, see above. Wentz will not go to Tampa. Watson is not going anywhere until the legal stuff is resolved. The only move the Broncos will make for a veteran is Rodgers, or nothing at all. You are wrong across the board. I also like how you reference an article saying Mariota and a draft pick to the Steelers when Mariota is a free agent. The article actually says 5. The Steelers sign Marcus Mariota and draft a QB

Im not sure I've seen many qbs in college that aren't 1 read qbs. They all run shotgun RPO offenses, strong is one of the few guys I've watched who consistently hit a second read, even if it was just his outlet. Where as Willis, Howell and others are one read them run qbs. I don't put a lot of stock into the senior bowl for qbs, and the combine and pro days aren't going to tell a team anything they haven't seen in tape. Strong will get drafted because of what he shows on tape, which is a big arm with a quick release and pretty good accuracy. Combine will give teams chance to check out his knee further. His inability to run a 4.5 won't be a big deal for a team that doesn't ask it' QB to be a RB. I think he has enough functional mobility inside the pocket, his ability to escape the pocket and make plays on the run for me are way down the list of attributes Im looking for in a QB. Either way I've seen teams take chances on qbs in the 1st round with worse arm talent and college production than Strong, so we'll see. The league puts a premium on qb so they'll always be over drafted which is fine as long as it's not the eagles over drafting them as the more qbs are picked the further it pushes better players of other positions down the board
