The effective cap space is a reason why trading for a QB this offseason is tricky.  It's not impossible, but where do you go in other positions to put a competitive team out?  Of course they can spread the cap with the void years thing, but it just exacerbates the cap position they are in at the moment.

Agree on all points except maybe Neal goes ahead of Ekwonu. Not a fan of Cross at all but there are a bunch of OL guys to like. Mitchell I've never seen.

I was a fan of the Stars as a kid.  I'll check out the league.  

 

I understand why they are doing it the way they are... just saves them a ton of money in travel for the inaugural season.

Yea, it does.  Hopefully it lasts and in the 2nd season teams can play in their hometowns.  I went to a UD/Nova game at the Union stadium right on the river.  Awesome venue for a football game and could see them playing there.

I can see some of that.  The Stallions look like Boston College and the Gamblers look like what the Falcons should look like.   I've always liked grey/silver pants so that looks good to me.  Wish the Eagles would utilize the grey in their color scheme to make a set of grey pants.

I'll check it out, but not hopeful. Football just isn't fun or good to watch with bad QB play. And there's enough bad QB play in the NFL as is.

I'm hoping it can be a true developmental type league for QBs to learn how to play QB, not run some variation of the college game.
