Shawn played tackle at Arkansas, which is something of a different animal. As a guard, though, he was the most powerful run blocker I can recall. Well, along with Larry Allen.

I like the mention of Nelson. He’s comparable to Martin and both are closer to Green than is Andrews.

The day Andrews and Allen first stepped on the pro field they were the best linemen on their respective teams. I don’t see Green being at quite that level. In fact, if we were to draft him, he would be the worst of our five theoretical starters.

2nd worst, he'd be better than anyone we have at RG. Of course, if Kelce returns, he'd be the RG.

But it does show you how good our OL is on paper, now if we could keep five guys healthy for a full season - that was a key to AR's early success in Philly.

Will we get a Hurts workout video this year?  Or will he take notice of Burrow's quote and hold off?

As soon as that devastating grade 1 high ankle sprain that would only take a week to heal hits the 4 month recovery window, look out!

What is the point of having 2 WRs if we don't have a QB who can look at both of them?

Are some of you just stuck in a loop and unable to discuss anything else besides how much you don't like the QB?

I really want them to make Harold Landry a priority.

I'd be in on that.

I just don't want to add a veteran WR to the offense if Hurts will be the QB.

I wouldn't buy premium fuel, racing tires, and high end brake calipers for a Corolla.  Invest the money in something else.

We also have to be prepared for a surprise signing.  No one had any idea Javon Hargrave or even a DT was going to be targeted 2 years ago.  What would a surprise position be?  Big spending on RT? Another DT?

What is all this fuss over Stafford and the Rams paying her medical bills?  It sounds like she didn't need surgery.  A non-operative spine fracture...if she has insurance...that's an ER co-pay on the order of $100 and single specialist follow up visit around $50.

I don't know if they'll have enough left over to keep the lights on at So-Fi next year.

Too bad none of their games are in Philly...would also be a better uni set for Washington and it isn't even close.

What world do you have to be living in to give a Philly team a Star logo?

I guess philly will support them, but why does it have to be a star? Thats Dallas' logo!

Kizer White. So they dont have to spend a 1st on a LB.

Rodgers doesn't want to come here.  Wilson doesn't want to come here.  Watson doesn't want to come here.  Maybe if you continue to improve your offense where you can while focusing on rebuilding the defense you can make your team more desirable to a veteran QB looking to relocate in the future.  Plus adding someone like Godwin or Gallup is not only a move for now but also a move for the future.  Both of those guys are only 25 years old yet would still bring experience to that position group on this team.  If Howie doesn't do anything wild with the QB in the offseason then I expect Hurts will make a big leap in year 3.  There are a lot of things working in his favor for that and adding someone like Godwin or Gallup would only help him.

But I don't want to pay either anything too crazy.  I just think that since they are both coming off season ending injuries that they might be able to be signed to a lower cost.  Maybe even off them a one year Alshon type prove it deal and then re-sign if they prove worthwhile on the Eagles.

No QB no winning.

It's basically trying to prevent a lawsuit even though it is her fault for being careless.

He wasn’t going to get sued, but he’s certainly doing it to save some face since he looked really bad.

This team very likely isn't winning the Super Bowl next year no matter who the QB is.  If Rodgers, Wilson and Watson simply granted teams Super Bowl wins simply by being on them then they wouldn't have only won a combined 2 Super Bowls in their combined 31 seasons.

DE, given the depth of this draft class, and the amount of $ already tied into the position.

PR.

Stafford saw the photography fall down, laughed and walked away. You could see his wife immediately react (what normal people do).

I'm pretty sure we'll get some videos.

You should get a time machine and go ask that question of the original USFL folks back in 1982/1983.

I'm not sure that this is true, personally I have wc, but I have many contractors who don't and they have all told me they can't get it on themselves. Maybe I'll suggest that to the next one and see what his response is or maybe I won't lol

Read the statute and looked for bulletins on this issue to verify and I think my position is sound.  An employer can exempt its executive officers from WC, by endorsement.  Sole proprietors are not required to carry worker’s compensation insurance but can.

Now, you mentioned contractors.  If a subcontractor is uninsured in PA, the worker’s compensation obligation flows up to the general contractor.  IIRC the general contractor doesn’t have to extend that to the uninsured sole proprietor contractor but they usually do because that makes them an "employer” under the workers compensation law and thus entitled to immunity from suit as a "statutory employer”.  I really don’t want to go further in the weeds here as only TorontoEagle, NCIggles and I really delve into this area (well, and one uninformed personal lines insurance agent), but if you have questions I might be able to help you with, PM me.  You contractors aren’t being totally square with you.

Of course I've seen plays and musicals I don't live in remote Alaska (although I wouldn't mind). I'd bet you dollars to donuts she would win a lawsuit.

That would be a sucker bet for me in CA but outside of Philly, I would try that case in PA.

Is the time machine necessary? Those people are pretty likely still living.

The owner wanted to call the team the Italian "Stallions” but Birmingham got that name - so the Stars were born.
