Just realized something. Will Minshew be willing to relinquish #10 when Jimmy G comes here, or is he going to have to be part of the trade?

Jimmy is tired of being called a zero, so he's striking that numeral from his jersey and simply going with "1".  Hurts goes to SF to backup Lance.

Actually, I don't think anybody is deluded by the overall lack of talent on defense.  However where we are utterly devoid of delusion is how limited we are by our current QB situation.  You, on the other hand have an Oscar Winning movie of a delusion about our current QB situation.  Furthermore,  you are so stuck on Hurts that you make statements like the above in response to people simply saying Hurts isn't good enough and want another QB.  Few in this blog are clamoring to give up a lot of assets for aging or predatory QBs, nor are most insisting a move like that would fix our team. Most of us are clamoring for a QB that is better than Hurts while also getting young and good talent on the defense.  Both can happen.

There should be no rush to waste assets on a QB when those assets need to be used on other parts of the team.  They are paying Hurts very little and the lockerroom responds to him.  Young developing QB who made substantial strides form year one to year two. Focus on the rest of the team and see what strides Hurts is able to make in year 3.  After year 3 you will essentially know for sure what you have in Hurts and you can make a decision on QB at that time going forward with hopefully now a freshly stocked defense with young talent in place.

Oh, the irony

"I know the frauds that the Philadelphia fans are. Behind that, there’s some hellacious people and they’re good people. And I know it and they know I know it, and so, we have a good time and I think probably the thing that I get the most kick out of is when one of the fans is really giving it to me. It’s wonderful to be able to go [Jones puckered up his lips and blew a kiss], so, we have a good time when we go to Philadelphia."

It sucks that we lost to them twice last season.

Jimmy G will turn his number up to 11 which is one more than 10.

I am now all in for a Jimmy G trade just to see the absolute meltdown that takes place.

Further proof Howie sucks picking QB.

If we trade for Jimmy- he is just a better stop gap QB than Hurts. They will still draft a QB next year.

Can't believe we let this offensive genius slip away

Here is the primary difference: I'm confident in what we have in Hurts isn't good enough and another year will just drive it home like my chronic migraines.  You think another season of Hurts will show us something we don't already know about him.  Here is what we know: arm isn't good enough, brain doesn't process quickly enough, timing is downright awful, can't anticipate, can't throw guys open, doesn't work the middle for the field, throws predominantly to the right side, cant throw at all moving left, can run really well when not injured, redzone passing is atrocious, makes a few OK throws a game, throws a decent 30 yard ball but cant hit guy 50 yards downfield in stride, well liked by teammates and others, works very hard to try to get better, never blames others ( could have said a few things about Reagor and Goedert).

Actually they will both have to fight DeSean for it after Howie brings him back for 1 more round.

I think Doug ends up being a smart hire for the Jags .

The Super Bowl he won with Philly , was a lot of coaching , they didn’t have a bunch of studs , lots of injuries , no 1,000 yard receiver , no 1,000 yard rusher , no dbl digit sack guy .
he won’t have  a owner and GM micro managing in Jacksonville

I think Doug has a direct pipeline to the owner

and the owner spends more time with his kick ball team

That time DeSean Jackson left a Super Bowl winner because he "wasn’t getting enough touches.” 😂😂😂

He would be. I rather send 2 first round picks for Jimmy G than see Hurts play another game here, but we could probably get Jimmy G pretty cheap.

Eagles 2022 starting QB

I think it's Jameis

If we trade for Jimmy G AND draft a QB.....I will go nuclear.

LOL- why?  Jimmy G is just a better place holder QB. The QB factory will draft a QB next year.

So we use 1 1st rd pick on a trade for Jimmy, we trade 1 1st rd pick for next year 1st rounder to give us 2 next year. A

And we still have a 1st rd this year to pick a player.

All good.

When we have new prospect QB ready to play, we trade Jimmy and Hurts for picks, getting back what we used on Jimmy.
