Kanye West going to put on another amazing theatrical performance tonight down in Miami.  Right now it's playing his heart beat but in maybe an hour or so it should start.  Greatest living artist by far and one of the all time greats.  The setup he has down in that baseball stadium looks amazing.  Going to be wild whatever he has planned.

Its not that dumb. If the eagles had a competent medical staff at the time, they would have advised against it.

Completely different.  One was an accomplished college player who just doesn’t have it, as far as a mental/competitive side of the game.  The other was a guy who has never played football and had to learn it from the ground up.  Howie would have been involved in knowing the player and if he’s a right fit mentally.  And missed on Dillard.  Alao, Howie would have certainly not been involved in shaping Mailata into the player he is today.  He was a freak athlete that Dopey Howie rolled the dice on, in the 7th round.  He got lucky.  Credit goes to JM and Stoutland.  Howie didn’t teach the guy who to play the game. 

 

 

Plus, Stoutland got to see Mailata up close and personal as he oversaw one his workouts.  He knew what Mailata was all about and the story that's been put out there since Mailata was drafted is that Stoutland was pounding the table for him.  Give Stoutland part credit at least for drafting him and all the credit for coaching him up.

They admitted they didn't really scout Dillard because they didn't think he'd fall as far as he did in that draft.  Thus, Stoutland wouldn't have had much of an opinion on him to offer at the time.  That was a Howie pick.  Could have not traded up over HOU (they were desperate for a LT at the time) and stayed put and drafted a player you did scout.

That’s why I haven’t done any of those mock simulations in awhile.  They still have Pickett and Willis available in the 30s.  Not gonna happen with so many teams needing QBs

 Not sure if it’s true, but I’ve read and heard the only person who can overrule a medical determination is the owner. That’s one of the reasons why most teams passed on DK and why Saban couldn’t get Brees.

I said it was too early in the moment he was drafted, and I was really high on Jones before the injury.  I thought Round 3 was the right spot to take that risk, not Round 2.  

 

Walker being #28 on that list is interesting, as the latest buzz has been that he might be the #2 DE off the board.

He is my #1 target if we keep our picks, but everyday I get a little less confident he will be there at #15.
