Same.

We'd have also Hurts & Minshew in this scenario, meaning we'd easily trade one of them to recoup some picks.

I can see where Seattle would want the 2023 pick and maybe even a 2024 pick vs. 2-3 firsts this year.  I wouldn't be that concerned if the team kept Hurts and Wilson but there's no reason to keep all 3.  I could see Howie being too stubborn to trade him for anything less than a 2nd.

Yup. USC lists him at 210 which doesn't seem ideal. I'm curious what he actually weighs since colleges flub those numbers all the time. DeVonta Smith was like 180 at one point and then shows up to official measurements and is 166.

I would be surprised if he's more than 190.

Yes. Jalen Hurts is actually great. You only think he's bad because of groupthink

Meh.

Who cares. It could always be worse

Yup. Jalen Hurts would get at least a 2nd round pick back. My guess is probably a 2 & a 3/4. Getting a starting-caliber QB for an average cap hit of 1.2M/Y over 2 years? Lots of teams would take this.

Just let me know which team offers a 2nd and 3rd round pick for Hurts, and I volunteer to give him a ride to the team facility.

Don’t think that would be enough for seattle.

Everything with that parallel lines up except the Rams had a better team where the QB was the missing piece.

even with Wilson, it would take a small miracle for us to be in the SB before his contract ends.

we aren’t built to be worth giving that up for two cracks at the SB

Prime McNabb or Prime Vick? Not even close

Give me McNabb- ALL DAY LONG. McNabb was a much better all around QB than Vick.  Vick relied on his legs way too much. Could not read defenses well (Sounds a bit like who we got now) And that was his undoing. When you can't recognize a double A Gap blitz when they show it presnap, you have issues.

A bit, except Vick was a more dynamic runner with the ball in his hands and had a plus-arm.  Stronger arm, better legs

Pitre listed on site as CB, but he'd be a S here.

But not the Eagles.  They prefer to mortgage the future on a QB on the end of his career per the crap poor excuses for sports reporters are putting out.  The Eagles, with Minshew as a back up option are going to trade picks to Seattle for Wilson, who have only Eason as a signed QB.  The Seahawks are willing to take the hit and rebuild with a real risk on who will be their QB, but the Eagles refuse to go with a rebuild of the defense and must have a win now QB with a no trade clause who isn’t interested in the Eagles.  And, oh by the way, Hurts, who has no arm strength per those same "reporters”, will garner a second round pick back per Schefter (only true reporter in the links above).  Sheesh.  I really hope Jeff and Howie are laughing at this BS.

The Pittsburgh Bacarty's or the Utah Koy's

Really?  McDuffie was the best you could do at CB?  A punter with mediocre consistent hang time that can punt it a long way sometimes? One edge.  Not a great draft.

I am concerned about an undersized CB from Washington.  I like the other picks.

Stingley, Booth, Gardner all gone. McDuffie was highest player left on my board as I have him above McCreary and Elam. Araiza>>>Siposs. If I was incorporating this into a mock offseason, I'd be grabbing Landry in FA as well at EDGE. I do agree, this is not my best work.

I like McCreary a tad more than McDuffie.

Give me Kyler Gordon , and in rd 1

Few other favorites  later in draft

Emerson

Waller

Lucas

McCollum

Durant

I really like this draft for DBs

McCreary's T-Rex arms bother me.

Daniel Jeremiah's newest mock:

Elam is underrated. Technique on how/when to be physical can be coached. The ability to stick on a WRs hip at all times can not. Thats DRC and Darius Slay type stuff that you dont see often.

Ill take Elam's coverage ability, length and athleticism, and live with a few penalties till its coached out of him. Give me that over McDuffy, and definitely over little McCreary.

Id rather any round 2 WR over Garrett Wilson. Those round 2 WRs are so good that its not worth passing on a different defensive playmaker, or even OL for a guy like Wilson.

I think the Eagles have to come out of the first round of the draft with a DE and a CB (if not CB, then S).  I'd rather have Booth or Gardner but I'd take Elam for the reasons you mentioned.  He's grabby but there's ability there.

Yep. For me hes in the top 4. Not sure the order but Id probably go Gardner, Stingley, Elam, Booth.

Me too but you get some of that with McDuffie’s height.  Not sure he is much faster than McPhearson, who has better ball skills.  15 just seems too high for McDuffie or McCreary.
