Not a fan. 3 OL in R1 would be a travesty, and then doubling up at RB? Also Myjai I project more as a 3/4 outside LB.

Yeah. I dont really think we will nor should take 3 OL. But I saw all 3 of those really good OL sitting there and thought Id see of I could land all 3 for the heck of it.

And then, I took the challenge to see if it could end up respectable. And, it did. I got all guaranteed winners.

Also, Sanders was projected that way but then showed impressively as a DE at the senior bowl. He has me believing he might make it as a DE. Surprisingly he is a bit bigger than guys like Thibodeaux and Ojabo. I would have thought the opposite based on all the season hype. Thought those would be prototype DEs, and he would just be a 3rd down rushing specialist. Turns out those guys are super thin and look like 3-4 OLBs and Sanders looks more like a DE than either of them.

I'm the captain of the Travon Walker hype train, but he should not be taken ahead of Thibodeaux, he should however be the 3rd DE off the board.

He's better than Ojabo and Karlafits, and will be better than Johnson in short order.

The reps would be helpful I wonder how the NFL would deal with it if the coach was setting the parameters.

Seems like a great opportunity to take it to the next step.  NFL teams would have so much info on opposing teams that they could feed into the system to actually allow the QB to face opponents on D in virtual reality. If Hurts could knock a couple tenths of seconds off of his read and learn to use a smaller pocket, who knows what could be achieved.

17.5m a year? Holy S***!

If I'm Sean McVay, I'm asking Amazon to back up the brinks truck and bolt for the broadcast booth.

I think that would be awesome. Only time I would face those two is the rare occasion that the Eagles are on MNF.

I hope they take Buck as well.  Keep those two together.

Ojabo’s poor run defense could cause him to slide a bit. I read that he got better as a the season went on, but then he didn’t really play run downs against Georgia.

I’m willing to bet on him getting better enough as a run defender to be a three-down guy. His pass rush potential is high enough that he could still be worth a top 15 pick even if he’s a meh run defender.

Decided to watch Boye Mafe tonight. I had noticed him live, but never paid that close attention because he wasn’t really hyped as a prospect.

Wow.

I’m not so sure he isn’t a better prospect than Karlaftis. He’s really twitched up. His burst and speed really stand out. Of the realistic DE options we’ll have in round 1, I’d rank it Ojabo, Johnson, Mafe, Karlaftis. I could be talked into Johnson over Ojabo based on his polish, size and not being so bad against the run.

I haven’t watched Walker, but it sounds like he’ll probably be off the board when we pick any way.

Damn it, all this change in one offseason sucks. No Aikman on FOX, no Michaels on SNF.

God bless the Ukrainian people and the tens of thousands who will sacrifice in the defense of their country.

My wife’s family all still lives there. I’m glued to the TV - not sure how I can comfort my wife so just trying to stay up on everything.

One of the guys who works for me has family in Ukraine and he only moved to the UK a few years ago. My thoughts are with everyone in Ukraine. I hope for a swift end to this.

I could see a fourth.  A 2nd seems out of reach.  His best ability is running.

Regular season: 16 games played

9 games with less than 200 yards passing

6 games with zero passing TD

3 games with 1 passing TD

More than half of his games produced .33 passing TDs per game.

He had 10 rushing TDs

9 games without a rushing TD

Would you want your team to give up a top 50 pick for that production?

Troy Aikman is a bad analyst. He's easily replaceable with many analysts. Paying him that much is dumb.

Who is tuning into a Fox game because Aikman is on the broadcast?

Ukraine fathers side  , Slovak mothers , unfortunately this is nothing new to this area , just a greater scale .

What we really need is some team to give us a Hershel Walker level deal.  And I'm sure there's a team out there.  After all, Hurts is a QB, not a RB (according to the media guide), he's basically a rookie and yet has the social media workout video swag exceeding a 10 year vet and he was like 5th alternate to the Pro Bowl.  Oh, and did I mention he was the leading rusher at the QB position last year?  What more could a team want?    Teams should be tripping over themselves to offer that Hershel Walker type deal for Hurts.

Been saying he’s first rd material  , him along with  Wyatt are two of my favorite prospects, period . I also think Bonitto will go higher than most think .

Who is tuning into any broadcast right now because of the announcers?   Madden might have had that gravitas, but I can't think of a single game that I got excited for who was announcing.

Tony Romo gets that for some people. Madden/Summerall together were elite. I agree with your point that most don't move the needle, thus they are overpaid.

Analysts getting paid 5M/Y is just absurd, especially as the networks fire people due to "Budget cuts".

Yes. Jalen Hurts is actually great. You only think he's bad because of groupthink

I did feel incredible fear and pressure to go along with that narrative....or else.

Well, there's two sides to that coin... the networks need 'name' analysts for credibility, so they have to offer enough to make it worth the top name people's while.  But, you are correct... the imbalance in the pay is out of whack, as it is in a lot of places.

I know on Saturdays, I'm trying to find whatever BIG10 game Gus Johnson is doing. Generally don't care what teams are playing, I just love hearing him in the booth.

I used to love tuning in to whatever game Vern Lundquist was calling.  I still really enjoy Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson.  I've just always liked the way they narrate a game.  Also a comfort level of knowing a certain sound and what it means.  Reminds me of Harry Kalas.  How many summer nights did I love just having the voice in the background but not really watching the game.

I LOVED Mark Zumov and the pure energy and love for the Sixers he brought to every single game.  He was the soundtrack of the Sixers for my whole life.  Kate Scott has made me stop watching Sixers games because it's painful to listen to.

On Sundays, when you hear Romo or Buck/Aikman at least you know it's the game of the week...but I'd never tune in just to hear them call a game.  It's a shame.  Networks have sought after ex players rather than qualified, experienced announcers.  Some of them are just awful.
