Kyler Murray is in the right.

Carrying a bad franchise on his back.

Carrying them where?  His stats have been remarkably similar each season, so while he had an excellent rookie year his production plateaued the past two.  BTW, last 6 reg season games 2021- record 2-4 , 7 TD- 3 INT, 13 sacks.  He folded when it mattered most .

Playoffs - 139 yards, no TD, 2 INT, and comes out later saying he is the scape goat for the loss.  P...y.

Ian Rappaport is reporting that Russell Wilson won't be traded unless there is someone better out there for the Seahawks.  Why is very unlikely.

Been saying this.  They don’t have a replacement at this time.  Eason is the only other QB on their roster.  The only reason the Eagles have been mentioned with Wilson is to replenish their stock picks.  Which would leave a team in even more need of talent without picks. That is kind of nonsense.

Russia's ruble falls back to 106 per US Dollar, a fall of 27% for the trading day so far.

Dumb ass just took his country back decades , his military is taking significant losses too . It’s a war he can’t win , best case  Putin can find a way to save face  and bring his troops home  , worst case he will be out of a job soon .

Plus his stock market had to close because of tumbling prices and interest rose from 5% to 20%.  He went too far too fast and misplayed his position.  Unfortunately, economic hits are easier to recover from than the ones that The Ukrainian people are suffering from. But he is delusional and I expect his demands to Zelensky will be untenable.

I think his main demand will be an assurance they don't join NATO/European Union and become a western military base on the border with Russia.  As I'm sure you know, the Monroe Doctrine spells out what the US won't tolerate in the entire western hemisphere.

Murray is saying give me the money and good luck with the rest of the team.  As a non-star player, which 95% of a team is, I'd be pissed as Murray is demanding the Cardinals pay everybody a little less so he can make a lot more.  This after a poor 2nd half of a season and getting steamrolled in the playoffs.

Yup, he comes off as entitled, especially when as you say he had a pretty average end to the season including a horrible playoff game.

Like I said if one wants to get paid prove it on the field not in some lame excuse of a letter.

Actions speak louder than words.

The letter essentially says the entire Cardinals roster is trash and Murray is the only reason they have improved.  Great leadership.

Gee, Adam, really?  I would have thought the tea leaves on this one were pretty easy to read.  His move was a negotiation.  Much was learned from Rodgers’ little tantrum last year.  Wilson has been pushing that for a couple of years, to improve his protection.  That’s what his whole deletion of media is probably driving and two years left, quite possibly a negotiation like Rodgers did last year.

They will never agree to such demands , never .

Lol

Yup, he's a chump, wouldn't be surprised to see the Cardinals entertain offers for him.

Seems he's jumping the gun as he's going into his fourth year and instead of proving he should get that 5th year he just wants the cards to commit to him long term.

I  think the cards let him play out his 4th year and if he doesn't improve try and trade him, wouldn't be totally surprised if they fielded offers for him this year.

I mean it's one thing when Aaron Rodgers acts like a selfish idiot but this is kylar Murray were talking about, exactly what has he done to deserve a long term deal???

They might on their own,  but US and NATO are dedicated to it and have been for about the past 15 years.

Gimme a F'n break!!

First, Corral gets carted off the field with a sprained ankle, now this.

His camp is portraying this as a high ankle sprain with a 6-8 week recovery time.  Guess what?  Since his injury on January 1 today is the start of Week 9!  Huge red flag for QBs who don't want to do anything but their own Pro Day in a controlled, self-scripted environment

DO NOT WANT!!  Please Giants, Commanders ... take him!

The Cuban "crisis” was going on when I was a young child.  Thus I grew up with the residuals of that and we are still sanctioning them seventy years later.  So I can see a bit of his reaction. What’s interesting is that it has spurred interest from Sweden and Finland in NATO and he has threatened them to not join.   In reality the odd participants in NATO might well be the US and Canada.  But we have used NATO in conflicts close to his border that aren’t close to NATO countries borders so I can see a concern.  CENTO and SEATO were created close to the same time as NATO and all were obsessed with the domino effect of communism post WWII. Vietnam effectively killed SEATO.  So Russia may see NATO as a relic created against it and they aren’t completely wrong.

OAS is a lot more neutral than NATO.  Kind of like a UN of the Americas

But the Monroe doctrine was anti-Imperialism not anti Communism. And as we (the US) became more imperialist ourselves, it kind of lost its meaning.  By the turn of the twentieth century we had helped Panama separate from Colombia because we wanted the Canal Zone. Invading Nicaragua a few times.  We were more like the European imperial empires by the dawn of the last century so the Monroe doctrine comparison doesn’t quite fit.  (It isn’t like there was this huge groundswell of support here for the other American states as they sought independence in the 1800s. Heck, our military actions were pretty much replacing one imperialistic country with another. 50 years to free the Philippines, Puerto Rico neither free or a state, for example.)

His pro day workout will be huge because,  not sure you want a CB with a list franc.

He's going to have to show he has ALL of his athleticism back.  And if not,  I don't want him.

I didn't read the letter until you mentioned that, but I see a lot of self-promotion and a signature that is actually a merchandising emblem -- nothing says "ME" better than a corporate emblem for your personal signature.

I'm sure Bidwell and Keim will explain the salary cap to him and outline where the top 51 sit, and where his contract would and would not fit within those parameters.  In the letter it says he wants the team to be competitive, so I'm sure his contract demands are in keeping with being able to sign other FA talent to help him (sarcasm)

He is a real risk.  Not a ton of experience at the college level after his freshman year.  The whole Covid season he seemed to slip a little and then cut short this year.  Kary Vincent, even with taking the Covid year off, had more games at LSU than Stingley. Lis Franc can be a difficult injury to recover from.  Stingley is a real boom or bust pick.

Not sure Howie takes a chance on him after the Sidney Jones debacle.

Unless stingley slips out of the first but I can't see Howie using a first on a CB coming off a serious injury.

There are a few good choices at CB.  I like Andrew Booth from Clemson.  McDuffie and Kyler Gordon also look good as potential picks, even Derrion Kendrick a bit later.  Gardner will be gone before #15, if someone drafts Stingley before our picks it wouldn't bother me one bit.  He hasn't shown much good film in more than two years.
