As someone who defended the Reagor pick and backed him for the first season-and-a-half, the issue is he consistently retweets fluff tweets indicating he agrees and seconds the sentiments. His father (a former NFL player and Eagle) is on social media blasting any criticism his son gets instead of instilling into him how hard he actually has to work in order to stick in the NFL. You can't have the dropped TD passes against the Giants. You can't have the muffed PR that sealed the wildcard game (it was over anyway, but that was the final nail). In Reagor's position he needs to be silent and let whatever hard work he's doing show on the field. Show me, don't tell me. I think Reagor has some real football talent, but I have zero faith he has the mental makeup it takes to succeed in the NFL.

Statistically, he actually played pretty well, too. So, after the season everybody (including the owner) said they needed to make a change. Carson's trade value right now could not possibly be lower so good luck getting much back. Let's assume they DON'T trade him. Is he going to come back? Carson did not do well with adversity here, so good luck with Indy. Yeah, I'm sticking with train wreck. I thought the Wentz apologists scurried off. Guess not.
March 1, 20223 yr Watching some more on Barno , boy he has some closing speed , he consistently chases the QB down in the backfield , good size too

I’m sure his haters are loving his decline. I think he’s saying I’m a wentz apologist, but literally am on the record saying I’m glad he’s not out problem. Most I’m enjoying the drama at QB in Indy.

I'd give Wentz my vote of confidence and would just hope to get blindly lucky that it all comes together in 2022. You already ate the pick, so you might as well give it another year. If there is someone you like in the draft, by all means, pull the trigger. But you have to pretend to be happy with Wentz in the meantime.
March 2, 20223 yr Just for craps and grins... 1) what would you trade for Barkley? 2) if he was traded how much does he fetch?

March 2, 20223 yr Edit: Barkley is in a contract year. If he plays well, you have to pay a 26 year old RB with major injury concerns. If he does not have a great year, he walks. He's also a $7m cap hit (do the Giants take on some of that?) I'd trade a 4 if we were in desperate need of RB. For us? 5 with conditional upgrade to a 4. It'd be a pointless trade.
March 2, 20223 yr RB is a churn and burn position. The only theoretical value is that a team misguided into over-using the running game hits it big on a dominant back and gets some major productivity on a rookie contract. That will give you value in round 1 or 2. And that ship has already sailed on Barkley, who only has 1 year left on that deal.

Just last year @Iggles_Phan was telling me he was still a generational talent. Now the Giants are entertaining offers 😂 I tried to tell ‘em. It’s hard being the smartest guy round here 😜 All jokes aside I wouldn’t give more than a conditional 3rd/4th rounder.

If they did bring him back does that motivate him or does he feel like Indy turned their back on him and doesn't believe in him just like with Philly.
